ALPHA LEONARDO’s POV…

“Leo..” Layla whined, but I soothed her, still not making any promises to her, and finally, she left.

I remained in the room, wondering why I didn’t just promise her, and after some time, I walked out of the room. There was no need to tell a guard to bring Cora to me. I would just go meet her myself.

I walked to where I had found her working, but she was no longer there. “Where’s Cora?” I asked the maids there.

“Greetings, Alpha. She finished her work already so she went to the fountain. I don’t know, but she likes it there.” She said, and I nodded.

With my hands in my pocket, I walked to the fountain, and seeing her play with the water, giggling like a little child, I couldn’t help but be drawn to her. I kept walking to her, and judging from the way she kept enjoying the water, splashing it over herself, I could tell she didn’t even know I was behind her.
