In the coming days, I didn’t get to spend much time with Cora because for some reason, the Queen alwyas had her around. She seemed to enjoy Cora’s company a lot, and with the Cora I had come to know, who wouldn’t enjoy her company? She was such a sweetheart.

She had gone from just taking her around the place to even inviting her to have food with us. “Come on, Cora. Join us.” She said, but Cora shook her head as she bowed respectfully.

“No, thanks, mother. I’ve already had food and I’m filled already.” She said, and even though I knew she was in only doing this because it was sort of rude to eat with the royals at the royal table, I didn’t say a thing.

Now, it wasn’t only Queen Katrina, my mother who was seeing the best side to Cora, I also did, and my heart warmed at this.
