LOGAN MILLER

LOGAN WAS STILL in his office, thinking about Claire when the door opened and Fiona walked in, swaying her hips seductively. Logan looked up, surprised. "I was not expecting to see you." He said.

"Am I not welcomed here?" She asked.

Logan snorted. "I did not say that."

"It sounded so," she replied, pouting her lips. She came around the desk and sat on Logan's lap.

Logan took in a deep breath. If his suspicion about Fiona and Bruce were true, then Fiona was doing an exceptional job at hiding it. He could not smell any of Bruce's scent on her.

"We have not been so close anymore," she said lightly.

"I wonder why," logan said sarcastically.

"You have been very busy. That is why," she said, swinging her leg around to straddle him. "Busy with things that don't matter like my sister. That bitch Claire." Her voice lowered to a hiss.

"Claire was your best friend," Logan said. "You had us all fooled."

Fiona scoffed. "I was never her friend." She arched her back, grinding her pel

"This was all the ones we saw," Bruce said in a small whisper."All?" Logan asked, leading them both away from the gathering.Bruce nodded."This was supposed to be a covert thing," Logan said. "Nobody should know about it; you know how the pack reacts to rogues. Now tell me why the news is floating around the pack now and they were throwing me accusing stares."Bruce ducked his head. "I did not mean for that to happen.""I know you didn't," Logan snapped. "What I want to know is how it happened. You were all gone, or did you tell anyone before you left the pack?"Bruce shook his head and sighed. "Some of the men started asking questions as we walked through the woods." He sa

LOGAN MILLERTHE HALL WAS deathly silent minutes after Bastian finished speaking. It was like everyone in the room was taking a long time to process the information they had just heard. Finally, one of the women broke down into an uncontrollable sob. "Nice one, Bastian," Logan growled.Bastian gave him a side eye and snorted. "Don't worry, my people." He said. "We brought you here for your safety. Alpha Logan here, has promised to protect you from the Lycan.""He will protect us from the Lycan," The old woman said, "But will he protect us from his people?"All eyes went to Logan."We are not blind," the old woman continued. Logan disliked her more every second she spoke. "We saw the way they looked at us as we came in. They can take it into their hands to harm us."Logan shook his head. "I will give them an order that none of you should be harmed. I give you my word."The old woman held his gaze for a few more seconds, then she nodded."Good," Logan said. "My beta will direct you to

CLAIRE VON SINCLAIR MY MIND WAS troubled as I lay in bed. I looked out the window, I could see the sun setting slowly. According to the weather and sky forecasts, tonight was supposed to be the first full moon of the month. Tonight was the night I had promised the pack, and yet I was in bed with my nerves biting my tummy.Alek lay beside me, stroking my hair softly. I sighed, in another circumstance, this would be perfect and I would be content to just remain lying on the bed there."The full moon will come up tonight," I said in a small voice."You are still thinking of that," he murmured.I nodded against his chest. "I can't take my mind off it. I can feel the bubbling energy of the pack... they are expecting me.""That is just your imagination, Claire," he said. "There is no anticipation in the pack. I can't feel it.""I'm sure you can't," I muttered, turning to look away."You are not well," He said in a soft voice. "I'm sure the pack would understand that their Luna could not c

Then seeing her walk mechanically, like she was possessed had almost made him crash out. They watched as Claire held on to the little children and released their wolf spirit, making them shift for the first time. "She

CLAIRE FISCHER“HE WAS SUCH a good man.”I scoffed inwardly as the smallish man draped in a black cape shuffled past me. Everyone becomes a friend at funerals, even people who had been vehemently against the person when he had been alive.I looked around and saw many of those types of people. Dressed immaculately in black suits and dressed with black sunshades to match. Some were even graceful enough to drop a tear or two for my father.I sighed and wrapped the black shawl tighter around my shoulders as I moved forward. I stood over the grave, taking care not to rustle the long root of dew vine that circles the dug-out hole. “Goodbye, Dad,” I muttered under my breath. I scooped up a bit of sand and tossed it in. I felt a fat, lonely tear run down my cheeks, but I smashed it away. He would now have wanted me to be sad and cry. My father, Alpha Bronn Fischer of the Moonshadow pack, was easily the best person in the pack and definitely the best person I knew. He loved me even with my “dis

Logan and Fiona were all I had after my father. They were in a hidden cabin, I watched Logan bend Fiona over and thump into her rhythmically as she moaned loudly. I watched his back arch tightly as he came inside her. He hung his head and suckled on her neck, she still moved, grinding underneath him until he sighed and rolled away, sexually spent. His eyes widened in shock when he saw me and he jumped to his feet.“Logan!” I could not stop the pain that seared through my heart the more I stood there. He turned sharply. His eyes widened in shock when he saw me.“Fiona…” I said in a small cracking voice. This was my best friend. My confidante. The only person who did not treat me with indifference or even pure hate. I told her everything that was going on in my life,

Although most of the people were smiling at Logan and Fiona, I still saw some hated gazes directed my way. Thanks to my mother, I had gone from pack hero to the rubbish of the pack, all in under a minute. It was my worst nightmare. I looked up at Logan and Fiona. They were smiling at each other. It was like I was no longer existing.I suddenly remembered all the nights my mother would invite Fiona to what was supposed to be a family dinner. My mother was always nice and caring to Fiona, I usually overlooked it, but now, I understand it now. But, my brows drew together in a frown, why did she wait all these times before she said anything? Why is she saying it now when Dad is dead? Was there something he did not know? A family secret of some sort? I was determined to -“A wolfless mutt has no place here,” a man snarled at me, breaking into my train of thought. “Your place is with humans or lower than an omega here. That is where you should be.”H

BRUCE ORGANIZED HIS men and they all trooped into the woods. "Where are we going, Beta?" One of the men asked Bruce asked they walked on."Out of the pack for a small mission," Bruce answered vaguely."What mission is that?" Another one asked.Bruce remained silent as they cut through the shrubs. He remembered what Ruth had told him. Even though he hated to do this to his friend, he knew he had to. And this was the perfect scenario to start to spoil Logan's name in the pack. "The alpha wants us to bring in some of his friends," Bruce said."Some of his friends..." the first man repeated. "What pack are they from?""I have no idea, " Bruce answered. "He did not tell me anything about a pack."Some of the men slowed down, frowning. CLAIRE FISCHERI DRESSED UP quickly before going downstairs, where the doctor was waiting for me.“Doctor Martin?““And you must be Claire?“ he asked.I nodded. Doctor Martin was a man of medium height and weight. He had a light sprinkling of ginger coloured hair on his head, but his most noticeable feature was his eyes. They were very warm and kind. They immediately put me at ease as he shook my hand.“I heard you were in an accident,“ he said.“Yes,“ I said, sitting down on the couch as he opened his bag and propped his full array of equipment on the table. “But it is not a big deal.“He chuckled dryly and replied, “I passed the scene on my way here. It was hard to ignore, and it looked like a very bad, fatal accident, especially if you are nothing like Alexander and his brother.“I frowned. “You know?““That they are not like normal humans?“ He scoffed and nodded. “I met Joram when I was in my first year of college. I had stumbled onto Alek raging out in a full moon.““Did they tel
