Rescue Part 1
It’s been several hours since our conference call. Gamma True and Councilman Bari have made it here. We are all at my beach house waiting for the technicians to set all the equipment. My beach house will serve as a secondary command center. Alpha Keenai will be able to assess all of the systems we have here and run things remotely when we all leave to go in the field. It was late night/early morning when everyone got in, so we took a break for everyone to get some rest. I couldn’t sleep so I’ve been up talking with my teams out in the field. I found out that there has been constant movement at the Ventura house and the Council house in San Diego. We are not sure which house they have Seleste in, but we believe it is one of those. The other house has remained quiet, with no one in or out for the last couple of days.

The flight takes only about 25 minutes. We land and load up in SUVs. The mood is very tense. Onyx is bouncing around in my head. He can feel Seleste now. We are definitely close to her. As we sit and listen to Seleste talk about the shewolf of my pack, it is clear to Yvette and me that Tracey is the one. She has been trying to get my attention for years. I have my beta and gamma get the pack together for a mandatory pack meeting in 10 minutes at our outdoor meeting place. I take Rose by the hand and lead her to the meeting. The pack watches us as we walk on the stage, hand in hand. Most of the pack members can guess why I called the meeting after seeing me holding hands with Rose. This is not something they have seen me do before.“First, let me say thank you all for coming. I have a few things to announce today. I log in with Councilman Bari and the others and update them on what is happening here. I let them know we will hopefully have Tracey and who her contact is tonight. Councilman Bari again let us know we are clear to carry out justice without a trial once we have clear evidence they are involved. Tracey, we will kill quickly, but we will keep one or two of her contacts alive to question. I should not be so calm about killing a pack member, but traitors will not be tolerated. I can’t believe it is morning already. Yesterday was pretty eventful. After I was rescued, we met with everyone remotely. Alpha Clark had to leave the meeting to deal with his pack. They figured out the traitor. It turns out her name is Tracey. I don’t know where Jenay came from. Maybe that was the alias she used with the rebels. I need to mention the name Tamaska heard to Rose just in case there is another traitor. I sent Rose a quick text just telling her that Tamaska heard that the traitor’s name was Jenay instead of Tracey. After a refreshing night with my mate and family, we are all up and ready to start our day. We will meet in my mate’s office in about an hour to go over our plans to capture the traitor or traitors within the council. As everyone was finishing their updates, Alpha Keenai let us know that his team member that is embedded with Councilman Avery’s grandson is sending live feed to him right now. Apparently, the grandson went to meet the councilman. Alpha Keenai is going to patch the live audio in for us all to hear. We’re all quiet getting ready to hear what they are saying, hoping they give us enough information to move on them quickly. Rejected Protector Seleste and Alpha Blake
My mate spent the night arranging for transportation for all of us back to his pack. He, the twins, Talia, and I will be going by helicopter. All of the warriors and their mates will be driving back. Jarvis arranged for a luxury bus for them. Warrior Peace protested about me being so far ahead of all of my warriors, so Jarvis arranged for a second helicopter for Warrior Peace, Yvette, and three of his top warriors to travel with us. Since my warriors and Jarvis’ warrior have been training together since I was taken, they are all in agreement with this change. Warrior Peace has in a sense become my general, so it is likely that he will always travel the closest to me. Once that got cleared up, we all decided to have an early night so we can have an early start tomorrow.
