The war is over. The dark lord has been defeated, but my warriors had to continue fighting mini battles from pockets of rebels who still insisted on fighting the rule of the king. They were no match for our warriors. The king and all of us were tired of needless bloodshed. We remained at the makeshift war tent for a couple of days, coordinating with all the other regions and bringing order. After the third day, we start teleporting warriors back to their region or home group.Queen LaDonna went back to her coven to get all the magics back on track and deal with the remaining dark witches. The decision to allow them to live was a tough one, but it was argued that the fact that they survived a hit from a light weapon showed they were not purely evil. While we didn’t expect them to walk completely in light magic, Queen LaDonna reminded us it is still necessary to have balance in the world. We need some darkness to balance the light. Even if we killed them off, there is nothing to stop ot
It’s been two years since the supernatural world had what amounted to a civil war orchestrated by pure evil. A lot of good came out of the war. The shifter community is more united and stronger than ever. The groups are no longer separated, well, not completely. Everyone still has their own set of rules and cultures, but we all serve under one king. We all come together yearly for leaders/alphas meeting at the palace. This gives us leaders a chance to network and build or strengthen alliances. It also gives us female warriors a chance to dress and get dolled up. Every year, Rose, Mona, Talia, Lacey, Francis, Violetta and I meet up the week before the conference to go shopping. Not that we need much of an excuse to meet up. We get together as much as possible anyway. Our males like to hang out with each other as well. The circle of ten still meets up as a group at my old pack for our birthday every year. Even though we are all grown and mated, alpha Connor likes to continue the traditi
The twins are 3 months old today. They are growing and maturing fast. They are already doing things more advanced than humans and even other werewolf babies. I always knew that they would be special. Both the moon goddess and Gabriel blessed them when I was carrying them. I know that they each have a path to follow. I hope that I as their mother can stir them in the right direction. Everyone has reassured me that Jarvis and I will be great parents. My twins will be showered with love. I’m so glad my parents moved to our pack. They can help me with the twins when I have luna or protector duties. Jarvis’ parents are also very helpful. I just like watching them while they sleep. They are so precious. We still have not figured out what their marks mean. We initially thought their marks were Identical, but they are not. They both have a crescent moon with three stars like mine, but Eliora’s has what looks to be a blade in the middle and Elon's has what looks to be a lightning volt. It’s no
I am one of the most loved and feared wolves of all time. My twin brother and I were blessed by the moon goddess and the archangel Gabriel. From the moment I was born, almost 3 minutes after my twin, I have been told I am special. My family did not realize it at the time, but my brother and I understood what they said about us even before we were born. My twin and I could mind e each other the day we were born. We always assumed it was just a twin thing. Over the years, we have discovered that we are unique and can do things that normal wolves cannot do. My parents have raised us to be levelheaded and grounded. We both will have a lot of responsibility when we are older, and our parents want us to enjoy being pups. Aside from being blessed by the moon and the light, we are descendants of the original gamma and alpha blooded. My brother is already stronger than many full-grown wolves. I have not tested my full strength, but I know I am stronger than all the she-wolves in our pack. I ha
The party started like any other children’s party. There were games, playing, and eating all day long. Our parents were relaxing with each other. My mom’s best friends are all in different packs. Talia travels a lot, so the adults really enjoy it when they all get to hang out together. Us children are the same. We only get to see the whole group together about 3 times a year. Because of who our parents are. Elon and I get to go to the other packs more than the other children, although things will change for us when we start school. School is another whole issue that we may talk about later. All I will say is that it took all of my grandparents begging to convince my parents to allow Elon and me to go to school with the other kids. My parents wanted to keep us on the pack lands and do some kind of home school, which is crazy because our school is a pack school. How would it look if the alpha couple did not trust the pack school to educate their children? Those were the exact words of my
I am a true pureblood Gamma. I come from ten generations of Gammas. To most people, that means nothing. To me, it means everything. I am a warrior. I was born to be a warrior like my father and mother, their fathers and mothers, and so on, as far back as 10 generations. My bloodline is pure. Our warrior gene is one of the strongest in the werewolf kingdom. My family has been the Gamma couple and lead warriors since the pack was founded over 1000 years ago. At seventeen, I am one of the strongest wolves in our pack. I can already win against fully grown wolves, both male and female. So far, my parents and the Alpha are the only ones who have won against me. The Beta and I are pretty even. Though I lose against him more than I win. Most members of the pack are proud of my strength and know that I will always use my strength to protect and train my pack. The future alpha does not like that I am more skilled and possibly stronger than him, especially since I am a female, better known as a
“Seleste, are you ready yet? We’re going to be late for school. You know how Mr. Simms gets when we are late for first period.” Talia yells up the stairs. “Coming, Talia,” I yell, while running downstairs. “Seriously Seleste, I don’t know why you take so long to get ready for school? You don’t even wear makeup,” says Talia, rolling her eyes. “Really Talia, I have to shower after training, then get ready. I know you don’t want to ride in the car with me all sweaty. Come on, let’s go. Don’t want to be late.” I say, smirking at Talia. “Bye, mom and dad. See you all later.” “Bye girls,” my parents yell. Talia and I leave the house. Talia and I have been riding to school since Talia got a new car on her 16th birthday. Most of us got cars that year, but I hate driving. I’m usually too hyped from training to focus on something so small as driving. We made it to school in record time. Talia may or may not have been speeding. First period is not my favorite. Mr. Simms is always tough and
Trevor and I used to be friends. Our parents used to tease us about being mates when we grew up. We used to laugh about it, but all of that changed last year during sparring practice. I have beaten almost everyone that I sparred with, except the alpha and my parents and sometimes the beta. Trevor challenged me once last year since he was an alpha wolf. Trevor thought since I was a gamma wolf and female, he could take me down easily. He prides himself on being the strongest wolf. Initially, I was going to let him win. My mother had told me a while ago about the fragile egos of the males in our pack. Secretly, my mother is stronger than my dad and probably the alpha, but she always gives them a narrow win to keep the peace and balance in the pack. I was going to do the same, I swear I was. I was also going to take this opportunity to help him improve some of his fighting skills. Trevor has a tell when he is fighting. He tends to lead off with his left leg every time he is going to get a
