FREYA

 

I stared at the two men in my room like they had both gone mad. What did they mean by saying mate? Just then I felt my wolf spring up from inside me. Her fur was white and beautiful as she stood. Somehow I could see her and feel her.

 

“Mate”. She called out. My eyes turned blue as we stared at the two Alphas in front of us.

 

“W… what?” I stuttered. "How could this be possible?

 

“How is this possible?” I asked Nicholas and Nicklaus, shaking my head as I took two steps backward. Why did the moon goddess choose me to be mated to my worst enemies? They hated me completely!

 

“Our Mate is handsome,” my wolf said, but I ignored her, trying my best to block her away. She didn’t know anything about the two men who stood in front of us and how they hated us. This wasn’t how I had imagined my mate would show up. 

 

“You’re our mate." Nicklaus said, coming closer to me.

 

“Please reject me. Reject this bond! Please”. I begged immediately, falling to my knees. Knowing fully well that I had no control over the rejection or acceptance.

 

I felt my heart contract painfully as I said those words. My wolf howled in pain. It seems like she wasn’t ready to lose her mate just now, but I didn’t really care. We were both better off without the twins anyway.

 

“No! Why would we ever do that? You’re our mate, and you belong to us." Nicholas said, bringing me up to my feet.

 

He caressed my cheeks gently with his hands as my wolf purred in contentment of her mate touching her. 

 

But still, my mind wasn’t settled. How could I act like they weren’t the ones who had made my life a living hell ever since I was a child? They had even let their fiancé do however they wished with me. Was I to forget all that?

 

“Please”. I said as a lone tear slipped from my eyes. 

 

Nicklaus turned me from his brother to face him.

 

“I will never let you go." He said before slamming his lips on mine. I tried to resist him but couldn't, as the mate bond only made my body respond fast to him as I let him kiss me. Nicholas grabbed me from behind, pressing my butt to his wood in between his legs as he attacked my neck with hot kisses, which made me moan into Nicklaus' mouth.

 

Slowly, Nicholas removed my clothes as he kissed my shoulders and then my back and then my waist. He let his hands trail slowly from my legs upwards as he discarded the dress I was wearing, leaving me naked in between them. Nicklaus let himself touch my breast as he squeezed, taking one nipple to his mouth to suck while Nicholas raked his hands through my hair, fisting it in his hands before claiming my mouth in a heated, passionate kiss.

 

The room was filled with my moans and that of the twins as Nicholas dipped his hands into my pussy, teasing me slowly before inserting a finger into me. I gasped out, trying to push him off me as I was frightened.

 

“Calm down, little wolf, what's wrong?” He asked, but I rolled my eyes shyly, avoiding his gaze.

“It's my first time,” I said meekly.

“And trust, we’ll make sure your body never craves for anyone except ours because you belong to us now." Nicholas finished.

 

They laid me on the little spring bed in my room as Nicholas spread my legs wide for him while Nicklaus brought his hard rock dick in my face as I took him in with my mouth. I woke up feeling happy, with my chest a whole lot lighter. I could feel myself stuck in between two bodies. When I got up, I had been sandwiched between the twins. I tried to get up, but Nicklaus grabbed me by the waist, hugging me to his naked self.

 

“Where do you think you’re going?”. He asked angrily.

 

“I was just going to get some clothes on." I replied shyly. Being so exposed to them when it was day made me feel shy. As I blushed, my wolf purred in satisfaction of being around her mate.

 

“Hmmm. You’ll do that only when we ask you to." Nicholas said he was getting up in a hurry as he glared at me.

 

I sat down and watched the twins get dressed while I was still naked on the bed.

 

“Time to talk seriously, Freya." Nicklaus said, glancing at his brother.

 

“Okay...” I replied, unsure of what we were about to talk about. Of course I knew we had to find a way to break it to the pack that I was their mate.

 

“You’re nothing but a slave. We watched you grow up, and so did many others. Don’t you think it would be a slap across our faces if we told the world that you were our mate? Imagine the mockery!”. Nicholas said, chuckling.

 

“What my brother and I are trying to say is that we cannot accept you as our mate. We are the Alphas and refuse to be mates with a lowly servant like you. Now be notified that I’d make your life more than hell if it ever got out that you are our  mate." Nicklaus said.

 

“But...last night...” I replied, trailing off as tears began to spill from my eyes.

 

“It was just sex, Freya, and truly you finally proved to us that beneath the good girl character was a slut who allowed two men to fuck her the same time and same night." Nicholas said, laughing. Both of them stared at me; the looks in their eyes showed how worthless I was to them.

 

“I, Alpha Nicklaus Mickelson, reject you, Freya, a lowly slave as my mate!”

 

“No…!” I growled out in pain, holding my chest tightly. It hurts so much, my body trembles in shock. I raised my gaze up to Nicholas; at least he's been kind to me once. I hope that he wouldn't reject me as his brother did. I was already broken; another rejection will completely shatter me.

 

“I, Alpha Nicholas Mickelson, reject you, Freya, a maid, as my mate and Luna!”

 

“No… argh..” I cried hard, watching them leave after reciting the rejection vows.

 

I sat shocked and shattered as I stared at the door, still processing what the twins had just said. My heart contorted in pain as my wolf howled in pain. Somehow I felt more for her than for myself. She had been too fast to dive into dreamland, and now it had all been shattered. 

 

I was still broken—emotionally and physically. I felt an ache between my legs in a place I never knew could ache, and tears streamed down my face.

I trudged to the small bathroom to wash up and get clean. A few minutes later, I came out, dripping water all over the floor, but my heart was still heavy.

Then I suddenly heard the tinkling laughter of Lydia ring out in the yard. I knew she must be with her best friend. I had no doubt that they would be coming to sneer at me. I did not care if they knew that I had just been treated like a slut by their boyfriend's. I did not care about the repercussions of what I was about to do. All I knew was that I could not withstand any more mistreatment from here. After all, now I have a wolf. I will be able to survive.

I looked around my room, feeling very sorry for myself. I had almost nothing to my name that I could take along. I wrapped the little I had and ducked out the door.

I carefully evaded where the voices were coming from as I ran towards the closest border.

"I, Freya Walter, hereby break every bond I have with this pack," I snarled and hurried out of the borders. I relished in the pain that washed through my being, knowing that wherever Nicholas and Nicklaus were, they would also feel the pain I cut the bond between us.

They were going to find me. And I knew what they were going to do to me.

So I ran. And ran. And ran.

Until I felt my legs collapse and I fell, smacking my head hard against a rock, and darkness enveloped me.
