Ep 3 : A weak human mate

Maryn was walking slowly towards where she did know, to meet with her next target. Since it was all pre-planned, she could play with them a little.

An innocent girl who never did anything bad in her life. Maryn had no idea why she got kidnapped and what actually was gonna happen, Alpha-Mate was not what she could understand anyway. 

"Ohh, Maryn. I have found out the main gate." Suddenly she saw the girl who was the other backstabber. Lily was not enough, they had to set more girls to make it look real. How hypocrite!

Maryn smiled at her and asserted, "About the pain that I will go through...."

"Huh?"

"Do you know how much it will be hurting me?" Looking at her coldly Maryn asked her.

The girl started feeling kinda scared. She heard that Maryn was just a human but now, as she saw her she couldn't tell if a human could look like that... Maryn was somewhat looking very scary, her eyes were looking so burning-like as if she was very angry.

Taking a step back the girl smiled fearfully, "I..."

"Are you really a human?" Maryn started walking towards her while keeping her eyes fixed on her. There was a coldness surrounding her, her eyes color was somehow changing slowly.

"What are you... Don't come closer to me... Stop..." The girl felt like words getting stuck between her throat but Maryn was still walking towards her. 

"You know I hate liars. Why did you lie?" 

"Don't.... Don't hurt me, please...." The girl begged before Maryn. 

Maryn stopped as she begged before her. But her hands were clenched in rage. "I was kidnapped, I was lied to, I am being used, he wants to use me and hurt me just for his selfishness. Do you think I am not hurt?" Her eyes started glowing and around her, the temperature started decreasing. The coldness was making the girl shiver but it didn't seem to affect Maryn at all.

"What are you... You cannot be a weak human... Who... Who are you?" She asked her in a shaky tone.

"Do you think you can know it in this lifetime?" Suddenly Maryn gazed at her coldly and all the windows in the passing rooms started opening and closing themselves at a high speed.

The girl got frightened seeing that and she stepped back while mumbling, "Monster... Are you a monster.... "

Monster... In all her life, she heard people calling her by that name many times. It could be said that she was called a monster more than getting called by her real name. 

As if she could see people laughing at her and calling her 'Monster'.

"I am not... I am not a monster..." Maryn's voice softened. Seeing her getting emotional, tears in her eyes the girl quickly got up and ran away from there.

Maryn smiled when she was hurting inside. It was not something new, she heard people calling her by the worst name all her life but even today, it affected her. Whenever someone called her that, she felt sad and the pain...

"Right, I... I am a monster. I will..." Maryn looked in front of her to see the girl but as she looked around, she understood that the girl left. She let out a soft chuckle and was ready to walk away. Since she was gone, there was no way their plan was going to be successful.

She could finally go back to her home. Maryn managed to walk out of there. She was sure that she was going to leave. After walking for ten minutes she found out a wall that could surely lead her to get out of there. Just when Maryn touched the wall she was thrown out far away. Touching her back as she looked at the wall, she saw it looked normal.

'Am I having an illusion?' Maryn tried getting up but she fell again. She tried getting up the second time and this time she heard some people laughing.

As she looked at the people who were laughing at her, she saw Adolf with two men. Strangers, she never saw them before.

"What kind of men you are? Laughing at a girl like this, seriously!" Maryn felt extremely angry seeing them laugh at her.

Adolf stopped laughing and walking towards her, he extended his hand to help her get up. But Maryn glared at him angrily, instead of taking his help.

"Right, we should not laugh. Ahh, we will help you to get... Up." Andrew extended his hand towards Maryn and she was about to hold his hand but as Adolf glared at Andrew coldly, he yanked his hand away and smiled hesitantly, "Ahh, Alpha will help you."

"Come, get up." Adolf extended his hand towards her again but Maryn didn't take his help. She tried getting up herself, acting stubborn.

Seeing that Matrix gave her a hand and helped her to get up. 

"Ahh, Luna... I mean, sister-in-law. No..." Matrix was hesitating about what to call her. Since the time he got to know that Adolf had found his mate, he was more than curious to meet her.

Maryn understood it and said, "You can call me Maryn."

"Dare call her by her name?" Matrix was about to call her Maryn but Adolf's cold gaze didn't let him do that. Both Andrew and Matrix were standing still, all silent when Adolf was glaring at them.

Maryn couldn't understand though what were they doing while glaring at each other. 'Weird!'

"Where are you going again?" When she was going towards the gate Adolf stood in front of her.

"Back to my home." Maryn shot him a cold glare.

Adolf protested, "You can't."

"And what do you mean by I can't? No, why are you even telling me what can I do and what I can't?"

"I said you can't then you can't. Now go back to your room." He sounded like it was an order she must follow. But ordering her and she would obey it, Nah! Maryn let out a soft chuckle while baring her teeth.

Was he kidding?

Blowing him off as Maryn walked past him he suddenly grabbed her arms and then he took her in his arms. All shocked to see him doing that, Andrew and Matrix were glaring at him with wide-open mouths. When on the other hand, Maryn was very annoyed at him.

"Put me down!" She shouted at him.

"Keep quiet." Adolf not only didn't put her down but he kept walking in giving no importance to what she said.

Maryn knew she would not be able to fight with him so she thought of taking Andrew and Matrix's help.

Grabbing Adolf's neck she suddenly started screaming out loudly, "You two, tell him to put me down right now or I will chock him to death! I will kill him."

But her threat didn't seem to work at all. Seeing it was not affecting them, Maryn bit his arm and he put her down. As soon as her feet touched the ground, Maryn moved some inches away from Adolf.

"Alpha, are you ok?" Andrew and Matrix quickly ran to him.

Adolf couldn't believe that she was such a wild animal. This was the second time, she bit him. "I'm fine."

Maryn was not worried whether he was ok or not. She had no interest in him either. She couldn't understand why the h*** they were not letting her go and keeping her there for something called 'Rejection'. He could just reject her and she could go back home, but Nah! They were really weird.

Seeing her walking away Andrew couldn't help but ask her, "Are not you worried about Alpha at all? You just bit him, he might need you to take care of him."

"Worried? Why should I be?" She asked reluctantly.

"Because you are his mate." Matrix answered her.

"So what? Firstly, I don't even understand what Alpha, mate blah blah means. Secondly, he will reject me. When he doesn't care for me, why should I care for him? When I did nothing wrong, I'll have to suffer because of him... Anyway, this little biting is nothing if you compare the pain I'll have to go through because this damn man... Will reject me..." Maryn blurted out angrily but she was sad, her voice turned into low volume.

Andrew, Matrix could say nothing. They knew that she was saying the truth and it was not fair to her at all. But what could they do when Adolf was strict with his decision...

Seeing Adolf stay quiet and Maryn look at Adolf as if she was waiting for him to say something, Matrix contended, "Then why don't you don't accept the rejection? Moon Goddess has chosen you for him, why would you give him up for...."

Adolf glared at Matrix but he didn't stop talking. He kept going on, "Tonight, I want to say something. Sorry if I'm being too much, but I can't see you mess up with your life. You don't love Linda, you are taking care of her because you want to fulfill your promise to her parents but Adolf, you...."

"Shut up!" Adolf glared at him angrily.

Probably Maryn couldn't understand what was going on. She could see them only looking at each other but not saying anything. Thinking they had nothing to say, Maryn pronounced, "Though I am a human I have the life of a Koi. So I won't die if even I can't endure the pain. Don't worry." And with that, she turned around.

Matrix forgot that Maryn wouldn't be able to hear them. She was a human after all.

"Alpha, think well about what will you do tomorrow. You have this chance, your mate is right in front of your eyes. Whether to let her go or keep her, you think of it." With that Matrix left from there so did Andrew. Only Adolf was standing still at the same place.

Even until two days ago, he was sure that he was going to choose Linda as his mate, he was ready to fight for her. But after he met Maryn, everything started changing. Now, he was not sure of what to do. Things got messed up.

'I don't want a weak human to be my mate, NEVER!'
