Chapter Ninety-four ~Guilt~

Three days have passed since Lisa and her mother were arrested. I have no reason to watch my back anymore. I feel sorry for Lisa sometimes. What she went through when she was younger molded her into the person she's become.

Her mental illness made her a victim of abuse by her stepfather. What an awful man! I hope he rots in the depths of hell or wherever disgusting people like him are supposed to be punished.

It was time for breakfast. I had been on my bed thinking of how I was going to approach Zara about my father. I became more intrigued about finding out who he was after she told me I have super healing abilities like him.

We haven't talked much since the day of the tribunal.

I need to be downstairs for breakfast before I get late or my mother would keep screaming my name like my room's somewhere in the sky and not in this house. I took my AirPods off when the song I was listening to came to an end.

There were just four of us. Zara wasn't here yet.
