Chapter 58

Darius's Pov

Seeing Danny, they all gasped in shocked but when they heard the loud thud and Danny moving aside, they all looked confused.

The blade hit a young man on his forehead, killing him instead.

Danny walked closer and bowed a bit. "I brought in his ally as you asked." he said and faced the courtyard entrance door.

Two soldiers, dragged in two men to the middle of the palace. They were beaten and badly wounded.

"They tried to escape so we had to use force on them." Danny said, trying to explain the reason why they were beaten.

"They deserved it, of course. Take them to the dungeon. I will be giving them their punishments, along with the criminals." I commanded. Today is the day of judgements. A lot of criminals will be brought to me and also a lot of dispute to be settled. I will give my verdict and settle the disputes. It is always done at night fall, when all the wolves are gathered. The soldiers took the two men away.
