I parked my car outside Ryan's mansion and hopped out of it. Warriors outside the mansion looked at me shockingly as I came here driving my own car.

"I imagine what would be Ryan's reaction when he came to know that I came here. I'm sure he must have thought I would cry and wait for him but to his dismay he married a rebellious Queen not a sympathy queen" I smirked and walked towards the mansion while looking around, impressed at how Ryan turned this entire pack condition.

I remember Mom told me that the previous Alpha of this pack destroyed this place, but Ryan changed and improved everything after becoming Alpha.

"Our mate is so good... Most of Alpha refused to take the pack of low quality with poor members and facility, but he did magic. Not only did he choose to become the Alpha of this pack, but he also improved things here. He did an impressive job in handling everything." Anika started praising him.

"I agree with you. He indeed changed everything. I read an article about this pack." I said and stopped at the door, noticing every small detail of his pack.

"What article?" Anika asked. I rolled my eyes, knowing she was asking me this question only to make me praise Ryan and say something good about him.

"Please say," Anika requested.

"His pack is now among the most powerful packs in both strength and financially", I replied and walked inside the mansion, waiting for someone to notice me... By any maid or warrior, and they did notice me but ignored me as if I didn't exist.

"They are rude", Anika snarled, not liking how they are showing disrespect towards us.

"Just like their Alpha", I replied and walked towards the hall while looking around for Ryan. He is the only one whom I know.

"He is not here" She muttered in a low tone.

"Huh?"

"If he was here, then I would've sensed him, Monika", she replied. I scoffed and shook my head at the absurd behaviour of that man.

"At least he should've been here to welcome me or asked anyone to guide me in this unknown place" I snarled and went near a maid.

"Hello" Before I could have said anything further she ignored me on my face and walked away, startling me with her behaviour. I tightened my fist to control my anger.

"Your Highness" I turned and looked at the girl in her twenties who gave me a voice. I smiled seeing her beautiful smile and also because someone finally noticed me.

"Hello", I greeted her with a smile.

"Are you looking for something?" She asked, giving me a mischievous smile.

"I don't know why I do not have a good feeling with her," I thought, then shook my head, realising I was again overthinking.

"Yes... I'm looking for Alpha Ryan," I said despite knowing Ryan is not here.

"Alpha Ryan has to go out for some urgent work." She informed me. I nodded and passed her a smile, unable to understand what to say next.

"I know he should be here with you on your first day, but don't worry, he will arrive soon. Till then, let me take you to the room which Luna mother assigned for you", I scrunched my eyebrow, hearing her.

"What does she mean by 'the room Luna mother assigned for you?' Aren't we going to stay with Ryan?" Anika asked as if I knew everything.

"You can wait for Ryan over there," The sweet girl suggested. I nodded and refused to ask anything from her but with Ryan after his arrival.

"That would be great", I replied. She smiled and took me towards the elevator and then pressed the third-floor button with the initial 'S'.

After a minute, we reached the third floor and walked out of the elevator.

"What the?" I grunted under my breath when I read the board at the entrance of the corridor with various rooms.

"Servant floor", I read in disbelief, then looked at the girl who brought me here. She tightened her lips after seeing my reaction.

"What made you think that you could marry Alpha Ryan and take the place of our precious Luna Jenny's place?" She snarled. I look at her in bewilderment.

"Jenny... Our daughter?" Anika asked.

"I don't know," I grunted and looked at the girl who was smiling like a fool, thinking she insulted me.

"You work here, Right?" I asked.

"Yes. So what? No, you're going to complain about me to Alpha Ryan that I insulted you by bringing you to the Servant floor," She mocked me. I chuckle seeing how foolish someone can behave.

"You didn't insult me by bringing me here. It's a servant floor where every hard working maid stays. Nothing is insulting about it" Her smile withered with my response.

"You also stay here. Do you feel insulted or proud that you work for Alpha?" I asked. She gritted her teeth, stormed her feet like a kid then walked away. I chuckled and shook my head, seeing childish behaviour.

"You taught her a good lesson" I turned and found a lady in her mid-forties, looking at me with a genuine smile.

"My daughter is smarter than her and behaves maturely." I said and rolled my eyes. She laughed and walked towards me.

"Ryan said it right," she said, standing in front of me.

"You would be a perfect mate for him" She muttered.

"Did he really say that, or is this another trap for me?" I asked Anika, who was equally shocked after hearing Lady.

"I think you're right. It's another trap... there is no way Ryan would call us perfect, mate," Anika replied. Our conversation got interrupted when that lady held my chin gently.

"I must say Alpha Ryan's choice is not that bad" She praised me and then kept her hand on my head like a mother, bringing a smile to my face.

"Thank you," I replied.

"It's not a trap, Anika. The way she kept her hand on my head shows her kind nature" I mindlink my wolf.

"Sorry from her side and from the pack members who didn't welcome you" She said. I passed her a smile and shook my head.

"You don't need to say sorry on anyone's behalf"

"I hope you understand. It's not easy for anyone to accept you as Ryan's mate or Luna of this pack. Jenny was special and close to everyone. They loved her so much that they refused to give her place to anyone else." Before she continued further, I interrupted her.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't interrupt you but I'm not getting about whom you're talking… Jenny.. My daughter?" I asked.

"What? No.. and wait... Is Alpha's and your daughter's name also Jenny?" She asked shockingly.

"Yeah... Whose else name is Jenny?" I asked.

"Alpha Ryan's ex-mate," She said, snatching the world beneath me.

"Huh?"

"Her name was also Jenny" Tears welled up in her eyes while talking about Ryan's ex-mate.

"Before I was talking about her only. No one can replace her in Pack members' hearts. Neither can you replace Jenny in Ryan's life. He loves her with everything." She said, dropping one after another bombshell on me.
