(RHEA'S POV - IN ATLAS' BODY)

I jolted awake as icy water cascaded over me, the shock searing my senses. Slightly befuddled, I squinted against the water spray. A shower? Where was I?

With a swift, instinctive move, I turned off the faucet, the sudden silence only deepening my disorientation. My gaze drifted down to my arms—brawny and foreign. Panic surged through me.

My eyes continued downward, and I realized I was naked, with a part of my body that wasn’t supposed to be there dangling between my legs.

"Eek!"

A startled cry escaped my lips as I took in my starkly naked, undeniably male body. My voice was a deep rumble, not the familiar, soft timbre I knew.

“What the—” I stammered, my hand shooting up to my neck, fingers tracing the unfamiliar bulge of an Adam’s apple.

The voice, the body—it all screamed of Atlas, the pack alpha who had caused me so much grief. Dread clawed from my insides and gripped my heart as I recognized the bathroom: it belonged to Atlas.

This place… it was the G

The memories were blurry, fragmented, but one thing remained crystal clear—Hera and Mortis. I remembered seeing them in the chaotic ballroom before my life ended.I nodded at Atlas, acknowledging that I'd tread cautiously around the werewolves of Geisterfell. Instinctively, I reached out to help him stand."It’s them, what?" Lucien's voice broke through the haze, drawing closer. My eyes flicked to the formal suit Lucien was offering. I couldn't afford any suspicion. With a forced nonchalance, I tried to emulate Atlas's demeanor, hoping to deflect any scrutiny. "Who knows," I shrugged, my tone sharp. "This woman—Omega, always speaks nonsense!" I took the suit from Lucien, but his raised eyebrows sent a shiver down my spine.Oh, no! D-did

The hay beneath me wasn't giving me much relief either. Its coarse texture only serving to exacerbate the discomfort that gnawed at my bones. My chaotic state of mind was worsened by the lingering ache of the wolfsbane which managed to seep beneath my whiplash wounds. Its toxic tendrils snaked through my veins like icy tendrils, coiling around my every nerve.Initially, I had hoped to simply sleep off the pain, but instead, I found myself tossing and turning on the makeshift bed as minutes stretched into eternity. Frustration simmered within me, bubbling up until it spilled over in muttered words of irritation."What's wrong with this woman?" I grumbled in annoyance.Being trapped in Rhea's skin felt like wearing a suit two sizes too small. I felt a constant discomfort I couldn't simply shake. Every i

From my vantage point on the floor, I watched as she faced him with apparent disinterest. "Hello, Lucien," Kaida greeted him in a monotone.Lucien maintained his smile, but I could see the hint of sharpness beneath his words. "Hello, Kaida. You do realize that taking the life of an omega without the Alpha's approval could land you in trouble, even if you're one of Atlas' most trusted officers like myself. Nightspire rules apply to everyone."Despite the weight of his words, that man still spoke in that nonchalant tone of his, the one that often grated on my nerves.Kaida shrugged dismissively, her cool demeanor unfazed. "What's wrong with disciplining a maid who's s

I moved to clean up the white substance on Daisy’s face, but she waved me away. “S-sorry, Daisy!” I mumbled, trying to shake off my lightheadedness.“Nah, don’t mention it,” Daisy said as she wiped her face. She disposed the stained tissue into a plastic bag that a maid like her always carry around. “You know, I was still skeptical about you changing souls with the Alpha, but… I guess. The fact that you apologized so much to an omega like me, makes me believe you.”I nodded gratefully, relief flooding through me. “I appreciate that, but please—”“Don’t tell anyone else. Got it. Each knock echoed my mounting irritation with the endless reports scattered across my desk.As I struggled to decipher the complexities of pack security, doubts crept into my mind. How was I supposed to lead effectively when my experience was limited to serving as a maid? Atlas's memories, while helpful, could only guide me so far in this unfamiliar role."Alpha, it’s me. (ATLAS' POV - IN RHEA'S BODY)I couldn't just stay still and rest in the converted stable, not with the memory of Lucien's satisfaction lingering in my mind. The pain of him violating me, ramming into me relentlessly, was unbearable. So, a few minutes ago, I made the decision to trace my original body's scent, that familiar scent of dark wood and mud, and followed it to its source. It led me to the site of Lucien's punishment. With fury burning in my eyes, I approached the tied-up Lucien. Perhaps due to my weakened state, he noticed my presence later than usual."Oh, if it isn't the tattletale Rhea?" Lucien chuckled, raising his head to look at me. "What? Missed me? I bet you feel quite hollow down there already—Ow!"I squeezed his nuts out of sheer rage and irritation. The pain contorted Lucien’s face, but it was far from over.I had found a small but sturdy log on my way to Lucien’s punishment site, and now I was hitting him with every ounce of strength my new body could muster.I s

Befuddled, my eyes wandered over the tools before me—the pan, the knife, the cutting board, and all the other kitchen stuff.Oddly, at times like this, I was reminded of some of the werewolves I had slept with in the past. Those people had a knack, if not professional skill, in culinary arts. I just had to approve their cooking after savoring some of the food they prepared for me.A pang of regret struck my chest. In my past life, I had plenty of offers and chances to learn how to cook from those individuals. Yet, I abandoned them altogether, thinking that my chosen chefs would always do the work for me in Nightspire. Now, standing in this kitchen, str

I’m just keeping my end of the bargain. You wanted Atlas under control, right?”“And you brought him here, to my base?” Mortis’s voice was calm, but I could sense the barely restrained irritation beneath it.“Yeah, so here he is,” Lucien replied with a huff, glancing at me one last time before stepping closer to Mortis. “I’ve done my part. I want out of this.”I looked up, locking my gaze on Lucien. My tongue worked

RHEA’S POV“Daisy,” I called softly, reaching out to my best friend. On her bed, she kept staring out the window, her gaze unfocused but intense, as if she could somehow see beyond the horizon. Every now and then, her shoulders would tense, and I knew she was thinking of Lucien.I felt a pang of guilt—not because I regretted stopping him, or letting Atlas deliver his punishment, but because I could see how much Daisy was suffering in the process. We were both here, confined to this hospital room to heal, but Daisy’s worry was tearing her apart. Her mate, Lucien, was likely in a torture chamber right now, facing consequences he’d brought upon himself. But knowing that didn’t make it easier for her.Slowly, Daisy turned to look at me, her expressive eyes filled with sadness. She had always worn her heart on her sleeve, making her emotions plain as day. If she had been in her werewolf form, I imagined her ears drooping, her tail tucked low—a picture of pure sorrow.“Rhea…” she whispered,

ATLAS’ POV“Ugh… fuck… my head…” Lucien groaned as he stirred awake. His eyes fluttered open, squinting against the dim torchlight that flickered in the cramped, dank cell.He slowly tilted it upwards, the surprise in his eyes was a sign that he knew he was bound against a rough, wooden stake. The iron chains wrapped tightly around his body.Lucien stopped struggling after a while and shifted his stare onto me. “I’m not into your play kinks, Atlas,” he sighed. From the hospital, I had taken Lucien into and underground prison in the Glorywayne manor. The same prison cell where Kaida died in my last life.“Thought you’ll stay dead,” I said, leaning back in my chair a few paces away. My tone was cold, deliberately distant. I had no intention of showing any sympathy.Lucien let out another groan, this one tinged with more annoyance.“Did you really have to knock me out, Atlas?” His voice carried a casual nonchalance that grated on my nerves. “I was just teaching that omega some manners, y

(RHEA'S POV)I lay in Atlas’s arms as the waves of pleasure subsides, the warmth of his body wrapping around me like a comforting blanket. We were both breathless, lost in the afterglow of our passion, and for a brief, blissful moment, the worries of what was about to come faded into nothingness.I nestled closer, resting my head on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. For those few precious seconds, it felt as if nothing could disturb the peace we had found in each other’s embrace. We were safe, together, exactly where we were meant to be.But reality has a cruel way of shattering even the most perfect moments.“Let me go!”A desperate cry echoed from somewhere nearby, jolting me back to the present. (DAISY’S POV)My steps reverberated on the stairs. I was heading up towards the VVIP ward where Rhea was staying. I returned to check on Rhea, thinking that she and Atlas had finished their conversation. There were still things that I wanted to clarify with her. About her feelings towards Atlas. Could she really be accepting the alpha or was she simply forced because of her circumstances as an omega mate to Atlas."Ah!"That was Rhea's voice!"Oh no!"My footsteps echoed even more as I hurried stepping up the stairs and eventually reaching Rhea's VVIP ward. My heart pounding with a sense of unease I couldn’t shake. Rhea had been through so much—too much, really—and I just wanted to make sure she was okay.I needed to see for myself that she was all right. As I get closer to Rhea’s room, I came to a realization that something completely different might've been happening to her."Atlas!"Then, I heard it again—Rhea’s voice, but this time, it was accompanied by something else. (RHEA'S POV)A sharp intake of breath that betrayed my attempt to remain calm. I kept my heads down, not daring to look up and see Atlas’ expression.I couldn’t remember the last time I experienced my heat in my previous lifetime, but I did remember the satisfied look on Lucien’s face when he almost had me in the poolside house. That memory alone was enough to send a shiver down my spine, tainting any sense of safety I might have felt. When Atlas touched my shoulder, I flinched. The reaction was instant, a reflex born from those painful memories. My body betrayed me, recoiling from his touch even though I wanted nothing more than to be close to him. Atlas immediately drew back, his presence retreating from the bed as if he had done something wrong.“Sorry. I should’ve controlled myself.” There was a slight tremble in his voice as he stepped away, guilt and uncertainty lacing his words.“You did nothing wrong, Atlas. It’s just… my heat.” My voice wavered as I tried to reassure him.The

We’re on the brink of being wiped out—remember?"“Oh, right…” I stammered, my cheeks flushing with heat. I couldn’t believe I’d almost lost control and jumped on him.'What is wrong with me?' I screamed internally. The growing ache in my lower abdomen made me shift uncomfortably, hoping it would pass.“Sorry, Atlas. I don’t really have many ideas,” I confessed, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over me.Atlas's eyes bore into mine, a faint growl rumbling in his throat—a clear sign of his irritation. But instead of the scolding I expected, he merely shrugged and continued applying the ointment.“Never mind. It’s probably better if you rest first. We can talk about it later,” he said, his voice carrying a note of resignation.“Sorry,” I mumbled weakly, lowering my head in guilt.A wave of d

In his hands, I noticed two small green tubes of ointment. “No wonder your ward was empty.”Daisy jumped slightly at the sound of his voice, clearly startled. “A-Alpha Atlas!”Atlas frowned slightly as he moved closer. “Are you alright? Did the hospital staff treat you poorly?”“No, not at all!” Daisy quickly shook her head, her hands flailing a bit in her haste to dismiss the idea. “The nurses were incredibly kind. They gave me my shots and medicine. I just left my room because I wanted to check on Rhea.”I could see Daisy growing more anxious as Atlas closed the distance between them.Sensing her discomfort, I turned to Atlas, who had stopped just a few steps away. “Atlas, you’re scaring her.”At this, Atlas blinked, as if suddenly aware of how intimidating he might seem. His expression remained professionally composed as he took the seat across from me. There are some things you need to know."I nodded, bracing myself. Once inside, he closed the door firmly, ensuring our privacy. I took a seat opposite him, my anticipation growing with every passing second."First," Wayne said, opening a thick file overflowing wit
