Chapter Sixty

I strolled casually into the palace and walked straight to Jasmine’s room. Most times, I would spend days at her place and did not have to worry about going back to my house to get anything because we shared everything she had while I was with her.

But now, I had to keep going home to give her some space and time to figure out whatever she needed to get sorted out. However, she was still my friend and until she told me to stay away permanently, I would still come around. Just not as often as before. I respect her need for boundaries when the need arises, though there have been very rare occasions where that happens.

I understand my friend is at a crossroads in her life where she needs to make some decisions and come to terms with the reality that had befallen her and the fact that she was divided between two men who were brothers.

So I was mad at the way she acted towards me. All I wished was that she felt better soon and everything was solved so I could have my friend back.
