Chapter 32 You Should Be Grateful You're Still Alive

Edward felt a whirlwind of emotions. His ears began to ring, and the overhead light became blurry. He knew he was bleeding.

Elliot had the nerve to lay hands on him like that, but it wasn’t over yet. Soon after, Edward felt another gust of wind. Someone was kicking him—each blow was powerful. He shouted in pain, too agonized to even beg for mercy as he instinctively tried to avoid the kicks.

When he thought the person would beat him to death, the person grabbed his collar and pressed him against the mirrored wall with a thud.

Fresh blood trickled down from his head. He saw Elliot’s face through the mirror, so cold it bordered on numbness.

Edward froze and could not believe Elliot was the man in the mirror with sinister eyes. "A-Are your legs healed?"

Elliot sneered, "What do you think?"

Edward was shocked. "So it was you?"
