Chapter 34 I Will Never Like You

"There are dogs on that mountain. I don't want to risk it." Zoey asked impatiently, "Are you still going?"

Elliot replied firmly, "Yes, let's go!"

The trio set off toward Lingen Mountain. When they reached its foot, the sky had turned pitch black. Zoey took the money and exited the car, saying, "Take care, you two!"

Samuel glanced at Elliot's wheelchair and suggested, "Mr. Elliot, why don't you wait here? I can go alone."

"No need," Elliot said, getting out of the car himself. It was already late, and there were no other people around. He could manage to climb the mountain on his own.

As they walked, they could not help but notice the distinctive choice of location for this house. Building a house on a hill like this was a testament to the owner's uniqueness, someone who refused to conform to the norms of society.
