Chapter 207 Phoebe Woke Up

The next day, Sophia got up early for breakfast and unexpectedly ran into Elliot in the dining room.

She greeted him with a smile. "How did you sleep last night?"

He just glared at her without a word and left the room.

Sophia wondered if she had perhaps gone too far.

While she did provide him with the full-body treatment as promised, he seemed to be displeased about it. Was it because it did not meet his expectations?

She sighed as she thought about his pettiness.

Mrs. Ruth had observed the little scene. "Ms. Sophia, what's wrong with Mr. Elliot?"

Sophia rested her chin on her hands, gazing in the direction that Elliot had gone to, and sighed softly. "Him? Maybe he just realized that the greater the expectation, the greater the disappointment."

Mrs. Ruth did not quite understand. "Is he mad at you?"

"Maybe.”

Mrs. Ruth became anxious, "Should you go and soothe him?"

"He probably doesn't want to see me," Sophia said.

"Why don't you just give it a try? He cares about you
