Chapter 208 Why Are You Running?

Sophia became even more suspicious and gave chase. Not far off, she saw a figure hurrying away. It was Mrs. Bash, from Elizabeth’s room.

Sophia sneered. If she could not catch her, she would just have to pay the two a visit.

She stopped to speak to the nurse at the front desk.

"Take care of Phoebe for me."

The nurse replied, "Of course, Ms. Sophia."

Sophia then pursued Mrs. Bash.

Probably sensing her pursuit, Mrs. Bash quickly walked to the elevator, but since the elevator was taking too long, she turned around and headed for the stairs.

Sophia chuckled. This would be a piece of cake.

Elizabeth was on the thirteenth floor, and Phoebe was on the tenth.

When she entered the stairwell, the woman had already climbed up one floor.

Sophia shouted at her, "Stop!"

Feeling guilty and frightened by Sophia’s shout, she missed a step, falling from the halfway point of the staircase. She also sprained her foot in the process, causing her pain and making it difficult for her to get up.
