Olivia's POV

The phone on the other end remained unanswered, which inevitably stirred a hint of irritation within me.

I decided not to wait any longer and set off for the hotel where Zander was staying.

I hoped to meet with him directly to discuss matters concerning the Los Angeles project.

Stepping out of the elevator, I just happened to see Emily running from the other end of the corridor.

Her face was filled with panic, and it was clear she hadn't noticed my presence.

Why was Emily here?

What had happened to her?

My mind was brimming with questions, but instead of calling out to her, I continued towards Zander's room.
