Chapter 17

Olivia's POV

The motorcycle roared for over twenty minutes before finally pulling up outside a bar.

I hopped off, calling my wolf in my mind as I looked at the man in front of me.

He led me through the bar to the back door.

Pushing the door open, we stepped into a small alley away from the main street.

I took a deep breath.

As a werewolf, I got an acute sense of smell. I smelt the mingled scents of mud and tobacco.

"You're quite bold," the man said as he stopped to look back at me.

I nonchalantly shrugged.

But deep down, I was thinking about how to ditch these guys.

As I was pondering, he stopped before one of the one-story houses.

Then he opened the door and turned to look at me, saying, "Come on in."

I glanced at him and walked into the room without saying anything.

The house was rather simple with little furniture. Besides the living room facing the front door, there was a room inside.

It might be a bedroom, I guessed.

I walked to the dining table and looked around.
