Chapter one hundred and nine

Kathy turned her head and caught sight of Dominic's face through the window.

"Dominic? How long have you been standing there?" Kathy asked, a hint of surprise in her voice as she rose with a smile to open the door.

As Dominic stepped into the room, he swiftly closed the door behind him, cornering Kathy behind it to shield their actions from the person outside the window.

"Dominic?" Kathy felt a touch of unease as she found herself in Dominic's embrace, her cheeks flushing as she cautiously uttered his name.

"Kathy, I've missed you," Dominic whispered in a low, pleasant, and captivating tone, sending a shiver down Kathy's spine, like an electric jolt.

"It's during work hours. What made you suddenly leave the office?" Kathy inquired, looking up at Dominic's jawline.

"Well," Dominic mumbled as he nestled his face into Kathy's hair, inhaling deeply before releasing her. "Indeed, it's time for work now."

After breaking free from Dominic's embrace, Kathy gently tugged him to sit on the sofa
