"No, my uncle cannot conduct an investigation into this matter. To be precise, there is no need for an investigation," Carissa said calmly after contemplating the situation thoroughly in her mind.

"Do you mean we shouldn't look into it?" Xavier asked Carissa with surprise. "Carissa, you can't imagine how anxious I felt when I saw that email. You promised me no one else would see it. Now that Wilson knows, does this mean Dominic and Kathy know too?"

"If she decides to hold another press conference to expose all of this, should I even remain in this city?" Carissa looked alarmed, contrasting sharply with Xavier, who had been composed when he arrived but now seemed worried. She then added sarcastically, "It appears that Mr. Xavier might be intimidated by Kathy."
