Chapter 77 Bullies

"Don't blame yourself Esme." After giving her a pat on the back, Leah walked into the room to fetch the first aid kit. Esme took it from her as soon as she brought it out into the sitting room.

She began by cleaning Zeke's face. His chin was covered in a number of bruises, and there was also blood that had dried and crusted over. Those bodyguards did a terrible job covering him.

When she started cleaning the wound, Zeke flinched, which caused Esme to stop for a while. He opened his eyes and saw Esme hovering above him.

"Sis?." A groggy Zeke's voice could be heard calling out.

"Oh, I'm right here. Are you okay? They must be painful, right?" Esme questioned him about the injuries he had sustained.

Zeke slowly sat up "Not doesn't. It's nothing more than a scratch."

"Just a little scrape? Do I have it right that it was those reporters who did this to you?" Esme asked again.
