Chapter 78 Mother and Son

While Esme was rousing Rielle from her sleep, Zeke got in the shower.

"Aunt Rielle, are you okay? Does your body hurt?" Esme asked as soon as Rielle woke up.

"I am fine, thank you for asking. Where is Zeke? Is he fine? He was wounded a lot..."

"He's okay. He then went to the bathroom to freshen up." Rielle was brought back to sanity by Esme's response.

"Esme... I never knew... I had no idea that my son was being bullied, and like a selfish person I had been manipulating him all of these years. I am really a bad parent aren't I?." Rielle broke down. Since she brought Zeke to her parents' home, she has been accustomed to receiving benefits that he should have had. Rielle never stopped thinking about her own issues, but she never considered the possibility that her son would also face challenges of his own.

"No... It's not like I could have never pictured it happening. It's more accurate to say that I ignored him." Rielle's tears began to flow. Her heart was broken when she witnessed tho
