Yancy followed behind him, her face cold and indifferent.

Benedict spotted me too, and a smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth, though his eyes still brimmed with disdain.

I lowered my gaze and gave a faint, indifferent smile in return.

As the bidding officially began, Benedict’s grin grew wider with each bid he heard, clearly pleased with the rising prices.
