”Alpha, we have buried them...” Sebastian’s head was tilted downward and his hand held at his side.

I sighed sadly with my hands placed on the table.

“We console the families of the warriors we lost, though it was...” His voice croaked and I stared at my hands on the table.

“I’m sorry, Alpha.”

“You know, Sebs I would never have been Alpha.” I blinked my eyes a few times.

“You were born with the blood of an Alpha, Alpha Jamal. You should not say that.”

I laugh bitterly at his remark.

“My parents knew what they were fighting with, they knew about Oscar and how strong he was, and that was why they needed the help of a powerful witch to defeat him. They knew, and were scared.” I pursed my lips and tapped on the table with my fingers, ignoring the pile of files on them.

“He’s not going to stop until he gets what he wants.”
