I was hearing Logan’s voice though my eyes were shut. I have been drifting in and out of consciousness for as long as I can remember.

My head was hurting, and I was hungry.

I ran my tongue over my lips.

I blinked my eyes open, momentarily blinded by the bright light. My head throbs painfully as I try to lift myself. When I could see again without the bright spot dancing in front of my eyes, I took a look at the room where I was. It was different from the one that I was before.

I was chained to the bed, and it was connected to some collar with had a lock and could be open only with a key.
