14. My heart sinks...

“What the fuck did you just do, Naya?” My wolf thunders at me. “Have you lost it?”

“I don't know. I just wanted to… Elsie, it's been—”

“Long you had sex!” She snaps. “And now the urge is so bad that you want it with that monster? What made you certain that he wouldn't strangle you to death in the process and get what he wants from you?”

I bury my face between my thighs. I know that was so stupid of me. The impulsive decision is silly, but it doesn't really bother me. What actually bothers me is the fact that he left me hanging.
