CHAPTER 20

I was carried away by the thoughts about my childhood days. I checked my time, "Ouch! It's very late. I need to sleep. I have had a long day.

I heard a knock on my door. I was very tired to get up from my bed. "Did I lock it?" It has been part of me to always lock my room every night. It all started from my childhood days.

"Dad! Why are you dressed in a sporty wear?" Just then, my mom showed up.

"Wow! What's happening? You two are going for early morning exercise I guess"

"You guessed right"

"When did this start?"

The two couples looked at themselves and smiled.

"Would you like to join us?" Dad asked.

"Not at all. I feel so tired"

"It's alright, when you feel like taking your breakfast. The food is ready" Mom said.

I admired them as they walked down the stairs.

My phone rang and I knew who the caller was.

"Hello"

"Valerie, how was your night?"

"Very well Ezra"

"When are you returning?"

How does he expect me to answer that question? "I just arrived yesterday
