CHAPTER 24

VALERIE'S POV

I don't know why everyone wants me back. I just traveled and haven't even enjoyed myself. Some days back,I was almost killed because Ezra was missing. Now I left them, and everyone is acting up as if they cared.

That was the second time in my life experiencing a very terrible attack. The environment was not conducive, so I had to leave.

The first time I experienced such an attack was when I was much younger. It happened that an Alpha was to be chosen. Many wolves living in our quarters wanted to attain the position.

I could remember Dad came home one certain evening, looking so angry. I asked him what the problem was. But I got no response. I thought maybe it was from his workplace, so I let him be.

My friend Tracy also complained about her father. She told me that her dad has been moody for days. I equally explained my own side too. She told me that she would find out because her parents never kept anything from her.
