Elisa walked inside Edwin’s office and when she didn’t find him there, she walked inside his bedroom.

He was sitting there feeling frustrated.

He knew how much this mattered to Janet, but he behaved carelessly.

She hadn’t argued with him once after their marriage.

Yes, because of their differences, Janet and he used to have some simple argument, but she looked literally enraged today.

Edwin should have thought about this.

“What happened?” Elisa was worried seeing Janet this angry.

Janet had already talked about how she wasn’t satisfied with Edwin’s overbearing attitude.

She was worried Edwin had done something that irked her beyond control.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t be this disturbed.

Elisa was ready to give him an earful but his words made her back off.

“I messed up big times,” Edwin said.

Looking at his guilty face, Elisa couldn’t stay angry with him.

“What happened?” Elisa asked while Edwin described to her how Janet was offended, and she was bursting with anger.

“It’s not your fault.
