Janet and Edwin were returning home after they met with Rim.

Edwin was finally happy.

Though Rim had her concerns when Edwin assured her, she had become a sweet mother to him, too.

They had dinner together, Janet bought it while Rim talked with Edwin.

He didn’t mind getting another member in his family if she was someone like Rim.

Her tender love reminded him of his deceased mother.

If she were alive, she must have loved him the same way.

“What are thinking?” Janet noticed Edwin was silent after leaving the hospital and she wanted to know what was going on in his mind.

“Your mom is so sweet,” Edwin said, and Janet nodded.

In her life, it was only her mother, and she had loved her enough to fill the void her father had left in her heart.

Though there were times she wanted a father too, Rim had done a superb job.

“She reminded me of my mother,” Edwin said, and Janet looked at him tenderly. He rarely talked about his parents.

But that didn’t mean he didn’t miss them.
