It all happened in a flash.

Xander stepped out of the car to close the gate behind us when a man all dressed in black and masked came into the car and drove off.

I didn't see that coming. I doubt even Xander knew what had happened until it was too late.

The man drove off at speed while I sat at the back of the car. It was like he knew I wouldn't dare fly out of a moving vehicle.

He kept driving onward without looking back.

I was scared to my bones. My hands and legs trembled as we drove at high speed without stopping.

We suddenly stopped in the middle of a busy road and the cars honked at us.
