A promise
Daulat stopped the car in front of Jerika’s house. Jerika looked at Brain on the back seat that had fallen asleep. He was on lot of medicines and sedatives which might have been the reason; he was knocked off so easily. He looked in peace. Jerika did not want to disturb Brian’s peace of mind as long as he has it but she was too despising the fact that she had share his presence with Daulat, whom she almost forget also sitting in the car. Jerika noticed that Daulat was looking at the house so intensely that he might be able to pierce the walls with just his stare. Jerika knew what was bothering him and she assumed that all this will lead to another fight and disagreement. It was both distressing and disappointing.
“Come outside” Jerika told Daulat in lower voice by signing him to move out.
Daulat was about speaking something but Jerika was quick to stop him.

Antoine reached his home and ran inside. He took a breath of relief once he was inside. Antoine made sure to lock the door twice. He walked in opposite direction looking at the locked door and bumped with something… someone. Antoine was startled and he responded defensively. Isabel founded Antoine in a weird manner. “What? All the concern and crap about his health and condition did not matter to him until it become really essential for Jerika to know and reveal the truth. But Daulat knew Brian was tougher than he looks. He had seen it. Brian looked weak and feeble because of being in hospital in bed for two years with nothing but liquid intake through syringes and pipes but ever since he was back to his senses and was conscious, he was growing tough and strong both physically and mentally. Only an idiot will consider him fragile but Daulat was smarter to be called one.“

***** FEW HOURS BACK ***** Daulat was making few phone calls whereas Jerika was getting ready to leave for Zion as per the plan. Jerika was worried but she could hardly do anything about all that. It took nearly one hour to reach the city and further half an hour to the office. Jerika was getting late. He grabbed car keys and walked to the garage so that he can leave in the car at that instant. As he was ready to drive away, he noticed something weird.
