CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR

AUDREY'S POV

The following week went smoothly, with the smallest bit of tension in the air. The only people that felt the tension were the main leaders in the pack.

Everyone was kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

“I feel like there's something going on, you know?“ I was with the ladies at the square when one woman commented.

My heart jumped. What does she know? Did her husband tell her anything?
