MAGNUS' POV

The next morning, I carefully selected a team of warriors—not more than five of them—so it wouldn't look like an attack.

Our convoy consisted of just two cars. I drove myself and three soldiers because I was the only one who knew the car route. The other two soldiers stayed in the other car with her body.

It was a short trip. We were soon entering the pack. I drove straight to the pack house. I drove past the house where he put Audrey the last time. I reflected on how far I have come since that time.

“You guys stay in the car until you sense any sign of trouble.“

I went in. I was stopped by the guards in the main house.
