CHAPTER 31: THE ENCOUNTER

2024-10-29 19:42:56Because K didn’t have an apartment or a villa in Valletta she had decided on booking a suite at the hotel she was at the other time. This however brought back memories of her time with Byron. She was wondering whether she will be seeing him again this time.
Even if she didn’t see him, she still had a date with J which she couldn’t wait to be on. K came a bit early so she didn’t tell Paula about her arrival which meant that she wasn’t expecting anyone to be waiting for her at the airport and yet she saw a very familiar face that made her heart race.
She didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as the young man gave her a bouquet of red roses. This was the first time a guy was giving her flowers and she felt very touched.
To think that this guy found her and had been keeping tabs on her made her look at him differently. She needed to keep up her vigilance otherwise she will be caught and have her secret exposed which wouldn’t be good.
