PREGNANT

DAYS PASSED AND everything seemed normal. The Elders left the following day and Clarrise left two days after. My brother on the other hand is still staying in the mansion.

Atticus and Lucien have previously worked out their differences in the past. Atticus also took the time to get to know the people who had been looking after me throughout the previous years. He even said he is delighted and grateful for me since I have someone to lean on amid the hardships.

But I can't help my sadness for the life he spent before Draven found him. He was alone for ten years, with no one to lean on and no light to guide him in the darkness of despair. I know he chose to live that way because he fears hurting innocent people. Things didn't go easy on him, especially when we both lost our parents.

He even expressed fear of becoming a cold-blooded killer like those who murdered our parents. And he explained that he couldn't bring himself to return to me because he was afraid of hurting me. B
