HIS MAKER

LUCIEN LET ME hug him until I passed out. I had no idea what happened next, but when I woke up in the middle of the night, I found myself in Lucien's arms. I wanted to move, but he was holding me too tightly, and his left leg was also encircling me. I was thirsty and hungry, so I tried to move while calling Lucien.

"Sweetheart, what is it?" he asked with a raspy voice.

My eyes started to water when I heard him talking to me again. Worried filled his eyes upon seeing my reaction.

"It's alright now, sweetheart. Stop crying," he whispered gently as he dried my tears away. "What's the matter, hmmm? Is there anything you need? Or are you somewhere?"

I smiled and held his hand.

"I am fine. I'm just really glad knowing that you're not mad at me anymore. I know what I did was wrong. I could have endangered me and our baby and for that, I'm sorry."
