With my mother by my side, I was able to blend in as a full-blooded werewolf but now I just realized I am not one of them.
Alpha Gavner must pay with everything.
I took a few steps forward but I felt dizzy, falling to the ground, I hit my head on a log of wood as it all because black.

GAVNER'S POV
I couldn't help but wonder why the moon goddess will give me a nerd for the third time.
Since I came of age, once every 250 years, I would go in search of a mate and today was another day.
The moment I rejected her, I could see the pain in her eyes, but I didn't give a damn because she wasn't my style.
Moreover, I hardly see her around.
After rejecting her, I would have locked her up immediately but I let her slip away.
She would earn me something good even though she's not good enough for me.
I watched her stagger through the forest, she argues with a woman about something as they hop into the car.
It seems like she has heard about me .... She was trying to escape my wrath, I watched from a distance, I shifted into my wolf form and stood in the middle of the road.
I would leave her to run for as long as she likes if she wants to fight it... But one thing I was sure of was that she lacked the strength.
She is one of those weaklings.
She swirled the car and ran into the woods, then into a tree and the car caught fire.
I was sure that she wasn't going to survive the accident.
What a loss...
But then I was surprised to see her step out of the flaming car as she fought some of my guards until they dropped dead on the floor.
I have never in my life seen a woman with such an aura, before I knew it she was on the floor.
"it looks like I underestimated you, Lenora, you have the strength to fight but I wouldn't let you do that," I said fiercely as I stared at her limp body on the floor.
"Take her out of here" I ordered as some men stepped up and hurried towards her limp body.
"Throw her deep into the forest, she would serve as a meal to those hungry rouges"
"she's still has a pulse" one of them shouted.
'what?!' i screamed at myself, there was no way that was possible.
I was puzzled as I walked up to them to confirm what they had just claimed to be true.
Slightly bending, I place my index and middle fingers on the side of her neck... I confirmed it.
I stepped backward still trying to analyze what I had just seen "why the hell are you staring at me ... You know what needs to be done so do it," I asked in anger.
" Yes Alpha," they replied in unison as one of them flipped her over his shoulders and carried her out while the rest followed behind.
All my life, no mate has ever stressed me the way Lenora is right now.
I began to wonder who she was or if was it just a coincidence.
I already had enough for the day so I teleported back home since I needed to prepare for the next deed as well.
The door suddenly pulled open as I heard his voice.
"You rejected your mate again," he said calmly but his voice echoed inside the room.
"I know full well that rejecting my mate has nothing to do with the affairs of the pack" I snarled back at him.
Taking a few steps into the room, he drew out a chair and sat comfortably.
"A mate has been chosen for you... for the third time, you can't keep on rejecting your mates, Gavner" He said as he adjusted the knot on his wrist, ignoring what I has just said.
Anger, hatred, rage.... they were all boiling in me. "And who are you to tell me that? An illegitimate son, Hora...."
"Don't you dare call me that, I am your King so I deserve your respect brother," Horace warned as he cut me off.
"Holy shit, brother then go in search of your mate and leave me be,"
"Do not mingle in my affairs" I hurled at him.
"Gavner, the moon goddess has not chosen a mate for me unlike you who had just rejected your third mate"
"They are weak... all of them," I said.
"You must mark Lenora, it is an order"
"And if I don't?"
"You never can tell what will become of you," Horace said as his lips curved into a cunning smile.
He got up, walked up to me, and adjusted my collar buttons, "Do not make me do something you will regret"
"Is that a threat?" I asked tightening my fists revealing my bloody veins as I tried holding myself from throwing a punch at his face.
"It is an order" he responded then walked out of the room shutting the door behind him.
"Damnit, that bastard, I am fucking older than him but he keeps on ordering me around" I fumed in rage as I pushed down everything on the table to the floor, smashing them into pieces.
"I must take back what is rightfully mine"
I decided not to allow the words Horace said to me, to weigh me down.
'You are not my son neither are you eligible to carry out the duties of a king, so therefore I oppose the proposal' memories flashed into my mind as those words hit me so hard, I shake them off.
Walking to the wine bar, I took out a bottle of apple vinegar and poured it into a glass, gulping down everything.
If only I could meet the moon goddess and have a word-to-word with her_ definitely she is part of my nemesis.
"I would make sure she explains why she gave me three nerds as a mate.... none of them is even from a prestigious family" I scrawled as I fell back on the chair Horace sat on.
"All my life I have been cheated on, first my brother was made Alpha king of the pack and then the so-called goddess isn't giving me idiots as a mate... Arrghhh" I said to myself, resting my head on the table, I dozed off. With the sound of the alarm and the reflection of the sun directly in my eye, I stretched and yawned while I turned off the alarm.Quickly, I had a shower and washed my mouth; I had business to settle urgently."Walker, did you notice anything again?" I asked one of the dungeon keepers as I strode through the hallway."She has been fierce since she regained consciousness...""That's odd, she regained consciousness already?" I asked again."Yes Alpha, she has been hitting on the bars fiercely the past few days and asking about her mother" Walker responded as we walked up to where she was. This time she was lying down, but immediately after we got there she lifted her head."Gavner where is my mother?" Lenora asked I could see the anger in her eyes. They were swollen
I continued "Although it is uncommon, it does happen to have your mate rejects you." I rolled the scroll to the ending. "I will read what the last two alphas had to say." 'Although it is understandable to have a mate rejected, it is not required to get rid of anyone from the pack.' "We are a pack and a unit, thus I have issued a law after consulting many elders from other packs." I halted and raised my head. "There can be no other option if the rejection has been accepted by both parties. Then an unmated male or female of the rejected line can claim the rejected for themselves." I rolled up the scroll carefully. "You all know I'm not mated," I said as I stole a glance at her. "I, Horace Wolfgrimm claims Lenora Silverberg as mine and the Luna of this pack," I declared not minding the murmurings from the people. With that said, I walked up to Nora and placed my hand on her back and her knee joint. Subconsciously, she curled her hand around my neck and I lifted her. Out of Ga
"And while I'm doing that... you have to accept it," Horace snarled at him."But. I do not understand why you are doing this; why did you claim her? "You haven't been gifted, but you claimed my mate." I heard Gavner spit at Horace.I wondered why he was so interested in me when he rejected me."Obviously, she doesn't love you. You can just say I'm cleaning up your dirty game." Horace smirked."A true mate is very rare, and when you find yourself with three, you reject them like they are some piece of trash. I did not expect you to think of selling her off, but then I picked up your pieces, and this is one of the reasons this pack was never handed over to you.... And now, while I'm still being nice to you, elder brother, leave my house.""That is an order."Gavner had always been a selfish man. From the time he was a little boy, knowing it was his fate to take over from their father as the first son, he never devoted his time to the pack. always taking everything he seemed to want for
There was a firm knock on the door, and two maids walked in."Your Majesty, My Lady," they said with a bow. "Queen Mother requested your presence at lunch," one of them said."Along with your mate," the other person completed."You can leave now," Sarah ordered as they bowed and took their leave."She must have been worried when the news got to her," Sarah said to Horace as he sighed.I was sure the queen's mother was Horace's mother; I'd never set my eyes on her.I couldn't help but wonder what she was like.Sarah walked up to me. "Your Majesty, My Lady," she said, holding out her hand towards me. "Shall I prepare Her Highness?""Sure, you should... I will get ready as well.""Prepare her in the best way you can," Horace said, not taking his eyes off me."Yes, Your Majesty." I was led into the bathroom, where Sarah helped me shower and wash my hair."Your Highness, feel free to ask me anything bothering you," Sarah said as she rinsed out the soap from my body.I raised my head, star
"And then we will have to prove to her that she is not fit to be a mate or a queen..." One of the ladies said. "She's such a lowlife," another claimed. They made a toast and sipped from their glasses. Regardless of how they displayed their stupidity, I kept on eating... I have not eaten a nice meal in the past few days. "I can't believe he reclaimed the messy bitch I rejected, hmph," Gavner said with a clenched jaw as he narrowed his eyes toward me. "Well, they suit each other." They're messy and clumsy. They always take positions that don't belong to them." Wow! That statement. I finally understood where all the hate was coming from, and I suddenly had the urge to speak up for Horace. I wanted to teach them a lesson. "You must have heard that your mate is an illegitimate son, who stole the throne from me, his elder brother?" Gavner asked me as he dropped the wine glass on the table. I have held myself back enough. "I think it's unproductive of you to dwell on rumors because
I walked out of the room and shut the door behind me.I needed to find a way to let Candra out of my life, even though I knew it would not be that easy.I walked into my study room. Candra was sitting there as usual, but today I wasn't feeling her."Why did you have to claim a mate when you know how much I love you?" She asked."Candra, I'm not in the mood for this," I said as I walked up to my chair and sat down."You are avoiding me; you just used me, and now you dumped me because of a woman your brother rejected? It doesn't make sense!" She cursedI ignored her, but she didn't look like she was going to leave me.She stood up, slightly. She continuously tapped her artificial nails on the table as she slowly walked up to me, rubbing her hands in a slow motion around my ears, down to my shoulders, then slipping her hand inside my robe, touching my chest, and beginning to fall in excruciatingly slow designs. She pulled my robe off as she suckled on my nipples, making me groan, and her
She saw all that! "You looked like you were enjoying every moment of it." She paused and puffed her nose. I held her hand tightly, waiting for her to spill all she had to say to me, but she was dead silent. "I'm sorry, I think I am overreacting," she said, releasing my grip on her as she wiped the tears running down her eyes. With a faint smile touching my lips, I placed my hands on her shoulders. I definitely understood her, and I knew what was running up there in her head. She was probably still considering herself lucky enough to be reclaimed by me, so she feels she is involved in my affairs. Slowly, I led her to the bed as the air became cool. "No, you are not overreacting; I know it was so wrong of me to do that." "I'm in a tight corner, letting Candra off me, and everyone is talking about how I reclaimed my brother's rejected mate." She looked down, wrapping her arms around herself as her lips quivered. "..of which I don't give a fuck because everything I do now... is def
There was a knock on the door, and Sarah went to tend to it.A maid eavesdropped into her ears, she nodded and shut the door."Her Highness, it's time." She said walking up to me, wearing some jewelry on both my wrists and my neck. I walked out of the room, following Sarah as she led the way. She held my hand as we descended the stairs leading to the passage. We met a young man standing at the exit, I had no idea what signs they exchanged but he nodded and opened the exit door leading to the garage."He is the driver," Sarah whispered into my ears. They were up to seventeen designer cars I had never seen in my life. The driver walked faster, then opened the limousine for me, carefully held up my dress, and I hopped in.Sarah sat in the front seat with him as he started the limousine, then drove out of the castle.I wondered where everyone was because, while strolling out, the castle looked empty. The driver drove into a place that looked so familiar... It was the hall where I got rej
