***KYLIE***
“I am not sure which to choose, they all look so beautiful,” I said as I stared into the pictures of available venues in my hands, grinning ear to ear.
“You think you should consult with the groom? I thought you both were going to do this together,” our event planner, Lexi, said as she looked around the room of my home, definitely seeing if she could catch sight of my husband-to-be, Lucien. I blushed hard thinking about the last part.
“oh, he has some issues he had to attend to last minute, you know what? Don't worry, I'm going to take these to him,” I said, placing my right hand on all the pictures in front of me, “and we'd be getting back to you, let's say tonight?” I added, and immediately, Lexi stood to her feet, and I did too, escorted her to the door as she exited my apartment, I locked the door, turned, and just grinned in excitement, everything was happening so fast, the same wolfless orphaned girl that was more of an outcast in Woodthorn was getting married to Lucien Lockwood, second son of alpha Dimitri Lockwood in less than a month.
My life was perfect, or at least it would soon be.
“I should call Lucien,” I busted aloud to no one in particular, then walked back to the sofa I had sat on, picked up my phone, then dialed Lucien’s number.
The line rang, but wasn't answered; I called again and got the same response that the receiver wasn't answering. Instinctively, I called his secretary, Rita, immediately it rang, she picked up.
“Miss Robert?” she said to the receiver.
“Oh Rita, sorry I'm calling you at work, but Lucien canceled on me last minute to book our wedding venues cause of some emergency at work, and now, I'm trying to pick but can't without him, and I can't seem to reach him, is the emergency over? I would love to come over to him with the pictures,” I said to her, rushing my words, but she just went silent.
“Rita?” I called out again to be sure she was still there.
“oh, Miss Robert, Sir Lucien called in sick today; he's not at work presently,” she said.
“oh, I didn't hear of that, do you have an idea where he is at the moment?” I replied, shocked and confused; if Lucien was sick, why had he lied to me about having a work emergency? I concluded he must have done it to not scare me, which only made me beat for him the more; he was the absolute definition of the perfect gentleman.
“he should be at home, last I heard from him, he was home,” Rita replied sharply.
“oh, thanks Rita, sorry to have disturbed you, and have a nice day,”
“You too, ma'am,” she curtly replied, and I heard a beep, signifying the call had ended.
I strode to my kitchen and began to check if I had the right ingredient to whip a porridge so I could take some along to Lucien, he was sick and down, and I knew he had no housekeeper, which meant, Lucien wouldn't have been able to whip himself a meal in that condition, a condition that even made him miss work.
Thankfully, I found all the ingredients I needed and got to work.

I glanced at my wristwatch as I stood in front of Lucien’s door; the time read 7:05 pm, and the lunch box with the porridge was in my right hand.
I knocked on the door once, twice, but no one was answering, but the lights were on, meaning Lucien was inside, I began to panic, what if something had happened to him, what if he had fainted with no one around to help him, I quickly entered the pin to his door, and pushed the door open, straightly finding my way into his room, I pushed his room door open, but the sight before me made me stop, I couldn't move from where I stood, before me stood Lucien, and my best friend, Thalia, in bed, naked.
“You like it don't you?” Thalia asked as she rode Lucien’s dick cowgirl style while his head was buried in her chest, sucking her nipples.
“Yes baby,” Lucien replied amidst moans.
“it feels better than with that wolfless bitch doesn't it?” Thalia asked again, her words piercing my heart.
“Yes baby,” Lucien groaned out.
“Then why marry her?” Thalia asked Lucien who was still moaning in between her breasts.
“Because she is the one that can lift my brother's curse, and if she does, then he'd be alpha; we can't let that happen now, can we?” Lucien explained looking directly into Thalia’s eyes, that look was something I had never seen in his eyes, he was in love with my best friend, “when everything ends, my brother clocks 28 without being married to the last descendant of Robert Wolf that was born on the same day and time as he was, then I can divorce her and marry you my darling,” Lucien said as he spanked Thalia’s ass.
I stood there by the doorway wondering how I had missed all that, all the lies. I could feel my heart ripping apart, the pain unbearable, then I heard the clanking sound of the lunch box in my hand as it collided with the hard tiled floor, making Thalia and Lucien look in my direction.
Then the tears I had held in all this while came down freely. “I'm sorry,” I croaked as I hurriedly wiped off my tears and turned to leave; I took two steps then turned back to look at Thalia and Lucien, who were now both off the bed, “and oh, there won't be any wedding,” I added.
“and what will be your reason to everyone? You wanna end up ridiculed more than you've been?” Thalia said without any remorse; she sounded as though there was nothing I could do. I reached out for my back pocket and brought out my phone, and before they both knew what happened, ‘click’, I had taken a picture of them together by the bed, naked.
I raised my phone in the air, waving it to Thalia, and said, “I'd tell them, this happened,” and turned to leave, then everything happened so fast, naked Thalia was dragging my hair and Lucien was trying to get the phone from my hand, they were wolves who overpowered me, but I fought with all of my strength, well, not until Thalia gave me a strong push, and I felt myself flying in the air, for a moment then hit my head on the wall.
The pain, the ache, and the feel of liquid trailing down my head as my eyes slowly began to close whispered only one thing to me, MY END!
***KYLIE***I felt my body being dragged on a rather not so smooth path as I slipped in and out of consciousness. “Should we leave her out here” I heard Thalia’s voice laced with fear ask. “We can't; it's cold here, and anyone could find her easily; we have to bury them here,” Lucien replied in a low tone. “could you grab those shovels we packed back at the house?” he asked Thalia. “Oh sure, where are they?” she asked. “in the car…” “You want me to walk back there, alone?” Thalia asked, in a tone louder than the one they've been conversing in. “Shushhhh, keep it down. Would you rather stay with a dead body in this dark forest alone?” Lucien asked, and after a while of not hearing Thalia’s reply, Lucien added, “I didn't think so, so kindly go back to the car and grab the shovels,” I heard the twigging of a branch as Thalia walked away from where we were, “and Thalia?,” Lucien called, and I saw her turn, though it was all blurry, “move fast, and carefully,” the hazy figure that I
***CALEB***“WHAT THE HELL!” I exclaimed in shock as I placed my coffee mug on my central table. I keenly kept my eyes on the TV, watching the news report; my brother's fiancee and my mate had been found dead and buried in a shallow grave back in the Woodcreek mountain at the borders of Woodthorn. Grrrrrr Grrrrr! Grrrrr grrrr!! My phone rang. I picked up the phone with my eyes still glued to the TV and placed it in my ear. “WHAT are we gonna do now?” my best friend Kathy said into the phone in a hysterical tone. She must have seen the news; the only woman who could break my curse had been murdered. “I don't know, Kathy,” I said to the receiver as I bowed my head in frustration, taking my eyes off the TV. “you're gonna die, Caleb, oh my God,” I could hear her stomping her feet in her house from the phone; she was furiously pacing around. “We should have just kidnapped her when we had the chance when she was alive, we should have kidnapped her, and you should have marked her imme
***FIANNA(KYLIE)***“Arghhhhhhhhhhhh,” I heard a loud groan, and my eyelids fluttered open before me was a man who was slowly changing, but only he wasn't shifting into the normal wolves I had seen. Another older man and two young ladies stood in one corner, holding onto one another as the sight before them scared the hell outta them just like it did me. “Look,” the man pointed in my direction, “she's fine and well,” he added. I looked at myself, I was in rags, definitely, not the boot-cut Jean and crop top I had been buried alive in by Thalia and Lucien, my body was covered in bruises where I sat beside a fireplace were some chains that seemed to have been taken off of me, I glanced at my hands and the purplish color confirmed my thoughts, the shackles had been taken off me. Still, in my reverie, I stood up on my feet, and adjacent to me was a window where the moon's rays shone through, I could see my reflection in the window glass, only, I was looking worse, like one of those tra
