AUTHOR’S POV

Kaiden gently dropped Odessa on his bed, his bloody fingers gently pushed away the strands of hair all ovr her face before he walked off, heading for the bathroom.

The King hissed as cold water hit all his burns, he soon realized that he was burnt in several places than he'd thought. After ensuring that he was totally clean, he left the bathroom and dried his body with a towel before going into his walk-in closet, butt naked. He picked out a matching pair of silk trouser and shirt. He wore the trouser and dropped the shirt on his bed.

He walked out of the room, summoning two of his trusted maids with a mind link.

“Your Majesty.” The ladies curtsied, waiting for his orders. It was very rare for the King to summon them, so whenever he did, they were always eager to help.

“The Princess is in my room. Get her cleaned up and dressed.” Kaiden ordered. He didn't have to worry about these two spreading out gossips and rumors because he knew they would never tell another soul
