Floating…

That's what it felt like. Odessa had known something was wrong with her but she'd classified it under the normal tiredness she was going through every single time she woke up.

But she should have known it wasn't it because never had she been so tired…

This was different. It felt like she was operating under an out-of-body experience. When she'd suddenly stood up after talking to that sweet little girl, Odessa felt dizzy. She tried to control her body movements, which was working on autopilot.

Before she knew it, she was on the horse, waiting for the race to start. But just as her vision was starting to become clear and stable, the horse took off. She tried to hold on to the reins but it kept slipping from her hands, and then she felt her entire brain shift because the horse had made a drastic turn.

Black spots were clouding her vision, her head was swaying from left to right. She could see tall buildings and trees but her brain wasn't registering them.
