Old Flame

Alexander's POV

"Hello Alexander," came Kira's voice as she walked towards me.

I remained frozen at my spot wondering if I was dreaming or if it was really Kira. My Kira. I just stared kept staring at her unable to react until she was standing in front of me. Her lips curled into a smile. She had such an amazing smile which warms my heart.

"Alexander," she called out to me again snapping her fingers in front of me.

"Hmmm," I said and the corners of my lips curled up a little. "What a pleasant surprise," I managed to say.

"Yeah, it is," Kira replied beaming with smiles.

"So," I began but I was not sure what to say.

It's been three years since I last saw her and I must say it was very weird seeing her now. My last memory of her was our passionate time together which was quickly followed by the break-up message. All the past years, I had thought my joy would be over the moon if I got the chance to see her again but here we are and I don't even know how to feel.
