Sabrina said, “Mr. Payne, I don’t know what trick you’re hiding up your sleeve, nor do I care enough to venture a guess about what you’re hiding. Can you just tell us? Let the two of us know why we’ll be dying today.”

Holden looked at Sabrina. Then, he looked at the little girl in his arms.

The little girl’s eyes sparkled with tears, but her words still held an adult-like arrogance. “Mr. Payne! Put me down!”

Coughing slightly, he then said, “You scared the child.”

Sabrina barked out a cold laugh. “I don’t need you to worry about that.”

With that, she moved to take Aino out of his arms.

The little girl immediately hurled herself into her mother’s waiting arms.

Just like that, Holden held onto Aino’s legs while Sabrina had her hands around both of Aino’s arms.

Seeing that Holden refused to let her go, Aino turned around, bent down, and bit Holden harshly on the arm.

“Ouch…” Sharp pain shot up his arm and he immediately let go of Aino.
