Chapter 13 Adhya vs Rudra

The next day the khurrana family visited the Shekhawat mansion in the morning to talk about their acceptance of this marriage and the engagement ceremony.

Shekhawat family welcomed them smilingly, after exchanging greetings. They were all set in the living room adhya didnt come as it was the discussion between elders.

" Mrs Shekhawat I want to request something, actually we wanted to have an engagement ceremony before we leave for London to make it official ."

"I think that's a good idea " gauri chimed in excitement.

"And one more thing if you dont mind I want my granddaughter's wedding like a proper Indian wedding, I mean please come as a barati to London, I want the wedding in London ."Devrat requested hesitantly.

" Mr Khurrana I know you must have many dreams for your daughter's wedding, but... I hope you already know that... Abeer's wedding will be the only wedding in our house. Many relatives are waiting for this news for a long time. We always wanted a grand wedding for Abeer in Shimla. It will be difficult for us to manage a wedding in London ....so ..."

Before gauri could complete,rudra stated his decision.

"It's ok Mr Khurrana we will go with your wish, the wedding will be organised in London ."

"But rudra how can we manage so many relatives..."

" Mom I said I will manage, ok and only close family members will attend the wedding in London. We will give a grand reception in Shimla after the wedding for our distant relatives and business circles think I am clear now".

Rudra declared in his stern voice.

Gauri doesn't like the idea of a wedding in London but as it was rudra's decision, so she has no choice left so she nodded. Garima knows very well how many dreams gauri has for Anne's wedding but in front of rudra they are helpless but garima and gauri both are aware that rudra also wants a grand wedding for his chote, so he will take care of it.

Watching the argument of Shekhawat's Ashish, Devrat and drishti were shocked more than surprised as they are now witnessing the power of Rudra's words, his decisions, and his control over the family members.

"Thank you so much, mr Shekhawat, Mrs Shekhawat we will try our best to make this wedding memorable from our side "

Gauri smiled at Ashish's words and declared with excitement "We will call our priest now and decide on an auspicious date ".

The priest decided on dates after 4 days for engagement and the wedding after one month. Both the families agreed to it.

Abeer and adhya were on cloud nine listening to the dates as they want to be together forever ..the sooner the better for them. That time Abeer was giving Adhya a tour of famous tourist places in Shimla.

Adhya was loving the city, especially when she was with the love of her life.

Abeer first took her to Kufri where they enjoyed adventure sports and a small amusement park.

Adhya had visited many places, done many interesting adventure sports and of course, enjoyed in grand amusement parks in different countries. But she never had fun like this, as the company of Abeer mattered to her more than the place.

After Kufri, the Christ Church, then the green valley and lastly Abeer took her to the famous Mall road for shopping. Shopping on Mall road was a pleasure for Adhya as she never visited anything like this before. Shopping for her means malls, branded stores and designer boutiques. When adhya noticed the other ladies who were bargaining with the shopkeepers, she was shocked to see this kind of business. Abeer laughed hard at her shocked expressions and teased her too. After spending the whole day with each other Abeer arranged a romantic dinner in one of his hotels and then dropped adhya at her hotel.

The next morning drishti scolded her for her irresponsible behaviour, as they have to do so many preparations and Madhya was busy exploring the city. According to drishti, she has to spend the rest of her life in Shimla only ., so she has a lifetime to explore the city as much as she wants.

Devrat blinked her eyes at Adhya she got the signal she apologize to her mother, which worked too.

The preparation for engagement started, adhya,garima, gauri and drishti got busy shopping. Adhya had never seen such heavy goddy clothes in her life but she has to bear this till the wedding .some dresses were so heavy that she used to fall while trying it only,gauri and garima were understanding her condition tried their level best to select light-weighted lehenga for her.

On the other hand, the men got busy booking the hotel for the function .and accommodation for their relatives. Devrat called some close relatives who lived in Delhi.

Drishti also invited her maternal family but her mother was not well so they were not able to attend the engagement.

Rudra already decided to call only close relatives as the business associates and distant relatives will be invited to reception only.

In all this chaos abeer and adhya couldn't get the time to hang out. Adhya wanted to go for a long drive with abeer, but abeer was busy with some office work.

one day when adhya was leaving to shopping with the ladies from the Shekhawat mansion, she saw abeer in the garden so she decided to give him a piece of mind.

"What do you think of yourself haa mr abeer Shekhawat, I want to spend some time with you and you ... mr Shekhawat doesn't have time for me.

"Adhya you know it's not like that love but rudra bhaiya has given..me some..."

At the same time rudra entered the garden to give abeer an important file, rudra was standing behind Adhya so adhya doesn't know about his presence.

" Rudra .... what should I do about that man haan? Doesn't he knows that you have a fiance poor me I know he doesn't know about handling a girlfriend or wife but that doesn't mean that he should separate two love birds "

" Adhya shhh" abir tried to shut her up.

"Dont you dare to shhhh me I am going to complain badima about that 'Mohabbat ka Dushman 'his dear son that he is separating two love birds .i am not scared of him "( enemy of love )

Abeer started nodding his head in no but adhya was so busy cursing rudra that she doesn't bother to know what abeer was trying to say to her by his actions.

"You know after listening to my complaint Badi maa will scold your brother, then rudra Singh Shekhawat will know ....". Saying this she turns around to face rudra in front of her at an inch distance.

Rudra was giving her a cold stare which scared adhya so much that she was not able to utter a word or move a little she just got frozen there. As she was under some spell.

Rudra moved toward adhya, Adhya 's brain was telling her to move back but she doesn't know why her body was not responding to her brain, she was not able to do any movement.

"What will I know adhya ?" rudra asked in a stern voice with a scary calmness that indicates danger.

Listening to his cold voice, she was almost on the verge of fainting.
