“Miss…are you alright?” He asked again, this time shaking her arm a little bit to see if she was even listening to him.
Siana had just been staring at him, her eyes focusing on his eyes which seemed to be casting a spell on her. Her cheeks still had tears running down them as she felt the pain of the princess from the poem.
Unexpectedly enough, the more she looked into those eyes, the clearer and more blank her mind got, she couldn’t think or react to anything. However, when he shook her arm, she snapped back into reality, and once again panic took over her and she finally broke eye contact with him.
Someone was sitting so close to her and was touching her and it scared her. She had no idea how to react and just froze for she had never encountered such situations before.
Soon enough, Siana realized that she had to say something or do something to get out of the situation. He seemed worried for her and seemed to have no intention of leaving without knowing what was going on. She mustered some courage and looked at him once again.
“Y…yeah…I’m okay…” She managed to get some words out; her voice weak and shaky. That guy looked at her doubtfully as he tilted his head a little bit. Siana was trembling from panic and was still in tears. She felt uncomfortable and just wanted to get out of that situation, but he didn’t seem to get the hint and didn’t move at all.
“But you are crying so much…” He said in a soft voice as he extended his hand toward her.
Siana flinched and had no idea what he was going to do to her. A strange fear took over her as she wondered what might happen next, what he might do to her.
Contradictorily to her fears, that guy used the handkerchief in his hand to wipe away Siana’s tears. He touched her face lightly with it as he wiped them away. His gaze seemed soft and comforting as he looked right into her eyes those green eyes.
Siana was once again enchanted by that gaze, his touch felt so comforting to her that it seemed to wipe away all her pain and worries. She had never felt that way before and wanted to experience more of it.
Unknowingly she kept staring into his eyes as if looking deep into his soul. She forgot all about her promises about staying away from people and not reaching out to anyone and for a second she wished that she got to know this person.
“I got so worried for you when I saw you crying here…” He said as he finished wiping away all the tears from her face.
Siana watched in a daze as his hands moved away from her face; she had no idea that she had been crying. It surprised her to realize how much pain that poem brought her and how much she could relate to the princess.
However, it also left her feeling sad for she didn’t want to end up the same as the princess. That was partially the reason she distanced herself from all; she didn’t want to be betrayed.
He chuckled lightly as he saw her looking so confused at his actions. “Yes miss, you were crying while reading that book.”
Siana was surprised at that for it seemed as if he just read her mind but she ignored that thought in no time cause that whole situation was already a lot for her to take.
He finally moved away from her, leaning against the cupboard opposite Siana. He just sat there and looked at her, a mischievous smile all over his face.
They sat there like that in silence while Siana tried to get back to reading her book but was too distracted because she could feel him staring at her the whole time.
However, his presence also seemed to make Siana feel a certain kind of comfort. For once, it felt nice to know that someone worried about her and that she wasn’t as invisible as she always tried to be. It made her a little happy to know that there were people who noticed her.
After trying hard to get into the book, she gave up as she finally looked up at him and found him looking at her as well. He seemed happy to finally see her make eye contact with him.
“Y…you don’t have to worry so much about me…” Siana was trying her best to not sound nervous but things didn’t seem to be going her way.
Having avoided all interactions for years, talking to people now scared her and she always seemed to stutter; as if she forgot how to talk to them.
That guy laughed again, Siana’s actions seemed to amuse him and he seemed to be having a lot of fun just sitting there and watching her freak out.
“How can I not worry after I saw you being screamed at by those girls this morning…” His voice was low as if he didn’t want her to hear him but also high enough to let Siana know that he was doing that on purpose.
And his plan to freak her out worked pretty well; her color went pale as soon as she heard that sentence. Several thoughts filled her head as her brain started to weave stories again.
He had seen her that morning?! Was that why he was talking to her? To make fun of her or to see if he could bully her as well. Was her plan to avoid people going to fail just like that cause of one stupid interaction with some girls…?
“W…why are you talking to me…?” Siana finally managed to get her voice to sound as normal as possible. The fear was still clearly visible in it and it seemed to amuse that guy even more.
“I told you, darling, I was worried for you.” All she could focus on was the mischievous smile on his face as he said those words.
A shiver ran down Siana’s back; she felt disgusted on hearing those words and anger filled her to see him play with her feelings like that just for fun. She was about to get up from there and go away when he burst out laughing, confusing and angering her even more.
“HAHAHA!” He kept laughing at her while Siana just froze, too shocked to say anything. The embarrassment and insult she felt in that situation were indescribable.
“Oh god, this is too funny!” His laughter died down and he tried to get serious again. “I’m sorry for playing with you that way but I couldn’t help it…”
Repulsion was all Siana felt in that situation. That didn’t seem enough of a reason for him to do all that to her. They didn’t even know each other for him to play such a prank on her. She turned away from him without saying anything and was about to walk away when he called her again.
“I’m really sorry, okay! I just needed to give you something.” He held out his hand towards her. For one last time, Siana turned and looked back to see what he was talking about.
A shock filled her body as she saw him holding her phone. She slowly looked at his face and there it was, his mischievous smile that seemed similar to a devil’s…
The wind caused rustlings in the forest and the darkness made it very hard to see anything that lay in front of Verona. Suddenly thunder sounds were heard and before she could look up at the dark clouds, her head was hit with raindrops, falling swiftly one after another, making her drenched within seconds. She sighed as she showed disappointment in her luck. However, the darkness and rain didn’t seem to scare her. What scared her was what was inside that forest. She was there to meet someone and to meet them she had to go deep into the forest. The trees were too dense for her car to drive any further. So, in pitch-black darkness, she set out to reach the center on foot. She had no source of light with her so once again she forced her injured body to use up the rest of her vampire powers to see in darkness and protect herself from any possible prey. Her body had weakened a lot due to the attacks and she had noticed that both her arms had nail marks on them and were bleeding a little
Siana smiled slyly as she warned Verona about what was about to come and how she was going to ruin her life. Verona just laid there trying to get up but was hit too hard and couldn’t get up anymore. The anger in her eyes was still very strong and annoyed her that she couldn’t do anything. But no matter how hard she tried, she wasn’t able to get up as the werewolf was stepping on her back. Its weight stopped her from moving at all and she could just watch as Siana laughed at her condition. She didn’t seem to be affected at all by being choked for so long. Her voice and her body seemed perfectly fine. Chloe, on the other hand, had turned into a mess. She was sobbing loudly as she called for help. Verona found it pathetic and was embarrassed to have partnered up with someone so weak. Siana found it amusing; she liked her cries for help as they made her feel superior and strong. “Well, goodbye for now. I shall see if you can still reach your goal after this.” Siana said as she waved h
“Cause I hate you to death!” Verona screamed as she gripped Siana’s neck tightly. “Your family had ruined everything for me and for my ancestors. And you being the current royalty, deserve a torturous death.” Her voice got scarier with each second. “S…stop…” Siana whispered in a weak voice as she held onto Verona’s arms, trying her best to pull onto them but all her efforts were in vain. “No, bitch!” The force of her hands increased and Siana’s hand banged against the wall. Siana gasped for air as she started to suffocate and gripped Verona’s arms tighter. While doing so, her hands pierced into Verona’s paper-white skin, and dark maroon blood flowed out of them in no time falling onto Siana’s fingertips.Verona had no time to notice that in her fit of anger but this was exactly what Siana wanted. She needed her blood to get what she wanted. “V, I think you’re going a bit too far…she needs to be alive till we get what we need…” Chloe whispered from a distance as she herself was sca
“I hope this day goes well…” Siana said as she looked in the mirror. She saw a thin figure wearing a black pair of jeans with a white shirt tucked in it. A puffy denim jacket was placed over it and it had her brown hair resting lightly over it. She sighed deeply as she placed her bag on her shoulder. “Wish me good luck, Kai.” She whispered before she closed the door and locked the apartment. Kai meowed once and turned into a human as soon as the door closed. “I wish you good luck Siana.” He whispered back as he waved his hand at the closed door. “Let’s see if they make a move today.” Siana turned towards the other end of the hallway and there was a sly smile on her face. Siana had not seen Verona for a few days and things had been pretty calm in the college. However, that day she had a strong feeling that something was about to go down and that was making her nervous for no reason. The day was going okay for starters but the whole day she kept having this feeling that somebody wa
*age 13*It had been a little over 2 years since Verona and Siana had been friends and their friendship had evolved a lot as now Verona mostly just hung out with Saina and had left her gang. The four of them were very jealous of Siana for taking their friend away and even threatened her to go away a few times but it never worked. Siana had opened up to Verona a lot but never told her about the past cause she never fully trusted her. The queen had taught her never to trust anyone to the point of showing them everything. She did end up becoming good friends with her but hid a lot of things. And at the age of 13 Siana finally realized that she only felt attracted to girls. Slowly her feelings did change for Verona, who was always really sweet to her and was there when she needed her, and she realized that she might like her. But chose to never confess. But what about Verona? She had been infatuated with Siana since the beginning and no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t stop think
*age 11*Siana stood frozen in a corner as her body refused to move. The huge building in front of her overwhelmed her. A lot had changed within a year. She was taught the manners of the modern world and living an urban life. Since her birth, she had been brought up according to the royal traditions and she did know a lot of things that other people did; her life was a little too fancy to live a normal life but now things were about to change. So now, here she was in a new city with her foster family away from her home and her mother, the only family she had. She was enrolled in a new school and she was excited to meet new people but the thought terrified her at the same time as she had not known many people except for her family and Karissa. She stood at the start of the road which ended at her school’s entrance. That building looked so much bigger than her tiny body and all the kids entering it seemed from a different world. All her excitement died down in no time and she started
