“Sorry…I don’t know who you are…” Verona said in a confused tone as she looked at Siana calmly.
“Hey! She already said she doesn’t know you so let go of her!” Lilia, Chloe’s best friend said in a raised voice as she intended to let everyone know what was happening. Her motive once again was to embarrass Siana.
Siana looked up and observed what faces they all were making. Her hand was still tightly holding onto Verona’s wrist.
Chloe and Lilia stood on either of Verona’s sides, the former was composed and calm but she too was pretending as if she didn’t know Siana as she didn’t want anyone to question her or find out that the two of them got along pretty well. Lilia on the other hand was very obviously annoyed and was rolling her eyes as she stared at Siana.
“Let go already!” She said as she pushed Siana away who moved a few steps back.
“Lilia…” Chloe said in a sighing tone as she just stood there and looked away as if she never saw that sight. She wanted to get out of there but it seemed like now she was stuck as people were starting to gather around them.
“What’s happening?” “She’s having fights with the popular girls again?” “Why’s she so stupid?” “Such a way to be introduced to the new girl haha!” Whispering started in no time as all those people longed to see some drama.
Siana still looked closely at their reactions. Lilia seemed to love the attention and deep down, Chloe did too. She was pretending to stop Lilia and be the good girl that she was in everyone’s eyes but she wanted to cause a bigger drama and get all the limelight.
“Lilia, it’s okay. Don’t get mad at her.” Verona said as she held Lilia’s hand and pulled her back from pushing Siana again.
Siana stared at her blankly and stepped to reach for her hand again. A part of her wanted Verona to acknowledge her and tell her why she was doing all that and pretending to be like them.
“Siana, just stop!!” Chloe shouted and stopped Siana. “Stop doing all this to me. Why do you have to always ruin my day? Just leave me alone please!” Chloe teared up by the end and started sobbing in front of everyone.
There she was acting again, thought Siana. Pretending to be the innocent girl when she just wanted the spotlight in all the drama that ever happened.
And once again…whisperings started but they were all loud enough this time. Siana was accused of being the villain in Chloe’s life, messing with everyone in her life and trying to steal them.
“Miss…I really don’t know you.” Verona said to Siana as she put her arms around Chloe and consoled her.
Siana was surprised to see all that but at the same time, she found it all funny. The girl who had made all those dumb promises to her about always being by her side was here holding some other girl in her arms, consoling her, and pretending to not know her.
Siana laughed slightly as she watched them all closely. She could see the confused look on Verona’s face but she was also able to clearly see the fear that she was hiding. Knowing that Verona was scared of being found out amused Siana and she decided to let go of the matter as she was going to use it to have even more fun.
“I’m sorry, I mistook you for someone else…” Siana stepped away and smiled innocently at them as if nothing had ever happened.
“What the…?!” Lilia said as she stepped forward and slapped Siana across the face. That was followed by a dead silence in the hallway. No one was expecting that to happen but they all took out their phones immediately and started recording.
“What’s your problem with Chloe? Just leave her alone and stop finding new ways to mess with her!” She kept shouting at her, accusing her of all the things that had never happened.
Siana just stood there silently. She was watching how Verona stood there silently and was busy wiping away Chloe’s tears to even notice her. She scoffed at seeing them like them.
“Are you even listening to me?!” Lilia shouted again and Siana finally looked at her. It was a cold and deadly stare, for a second, Siana’s eyes glowed a little bit and that just made her look even scarier. That look scared Lilia off in no time and she went quiet in no time.
Siana smirked as she just turned around and walked towards her class not caring about any of those people who stood there watching her or talking bad about her or even her ‘lover’ Verona.
“What happened?” Verona said as she shook Lilia’s arm as she had stood frozen for several seconds now. Lilia flinched hard at being shaken and was surprised on seeing that everyone had already walked away.
“I have no idea…my body just froze and I zoned out…I guess…” Lilia said as she rubbed her head as she was having a headache.
“It’s alright, lets just go now.” Chloe said as she shook Lilia’s arm. “We have to show Verona around the campus. After years of begging she finally transferred here.”
They both got back in high spirits as they started walking. But Verona just stood there staring in the direction that Siana had walked in. She had a conflicted expression on her face as if she had heard something scary yet relieving.

“And that’s it for today’s lecture.” The professor started to gather up his stuff and all the students sighed and stretched their bodies after the long and boring lecture.
Unlike others who started talking and were slowly getting ready to leave, he was quick to collect everything and get up from his seat as if he had to rush somewhere.
He walked out of the room and it seemed like he knew where he was headed and was quick on his steps.
“I saved you all the trouble.” Siana said from behind. “Elijah Camerona.”
He froze completely on hearing her voice. He turned around slowly and there she was, standing right next to the door, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed and a sly smile on her face which was very unlike her.
She was waiting for him this whole time. She had looked up his whole schedule and had been stalking him all day. And now was the best opportunity to catch him as it was the last lecture of the day and he was heading to follow her home.
He stared at her blankly for a second but then his expression changed completely and he started smiling and stood in front of her.
“You found me pretty quickly.” He said as he started at her and she laughed.
“You exposed yourself too much.” She stared back at him. “And she’s very quick to find out things.” He gave a disappointed look after hearing that and pinched the temples of his eyes.
“Of course, Karissa…that bitch!” He looked away as if he was curing her and she laughed more.
“She’s always been there, unlike you.”
“Nice to meet you again, princess.” He said as he put his hand on his chest as if to salute her.
She said as she smiled slyly on hearing that and patted his shoulder“Nice to meet you again too, my protector…”
*An hour later, in the gym room*“And that’s pretty much all… she just pretended as if nothing ever happened and walked away.” Chloe looked worriedly at Alex once again who stood there with a serious expression.“Why did you have to cause all that drama and cry? What did she even do to you?” He questioned her as he stared at her coldly. “Baby…she’s always ruining my day and stealing you from me. I just had enough at this point. I can’t handle her threats anymore and her claiming that you’re hers. I need you all to myself and I don’t want her interfering in our life anymore…” Chloe once again started her acting and sobbed loudly as she hugged him. “She makes me insecure and scared and I just can’t handle it any more honey…please believe me.” Alex sighed and rubbed her back. Chloe smiled cunningly as she watched him turn softer with each passing second. “I do believe you…but you can’t be acting this way. You have to worry about your reputation as well.” He cupped her cheeks and wiped
“So what’s the plan?” Elijah asked as he sat down next to Siana, who was once again lost in her thoughts. “They’re all here…just as we had planned. We got them all together after so many years…” Siana nodded along but didn’t say anything for a while. “We’ll wait for them to attack first…let them feel like they’re ahead of us. And as usual, keep your identity secret. Don’t even let them get suspicious about it.” She wanted him as she looked coldly into his eyes. “Yes, I will be careful of it.” He lowered his head as he agreed to it. “I have to go now, be careful with everything.” She picked up her back and got ready to leave. It was already 8 pm and it was dark outside. Elijah got up and walked her to the door. “Don’t let her get to your head.” He advised her as he had noticed her zoning out ever since he had talked about her. It seemed like Verona was going to be her biggest enemy but she had already turned into her weakness. She had loved her truly way before she had known
Siana’s feet stopped moving as soon as she entered the hallway toward her apartment. All the efforts that she had made to keep herself together went in vain as her heart dropped and she felt a rush of emotions taking over her. After being so close to Chloe and ignoring Siana completely, what was Verona even doing here? She stood before her door, leaning against the wall, wearing a black leather jacket that Siana had difficulty recognizing. Her hair was left loose and it fell softly onto her shoulders as she fixed her eyes on her phone, a sly smile all over her face. The leather jacket over the white shirt and the pants made her unrecognizable to Siana as she had never seen Verona dress that way. She stood still without any moment for a few seconds as she just tried to figure out who this person in front of her actually was. She had never seen that sly smile before and therefore was unable to understand what it meant. She could tell that the person in front of her wasn't the one sh
*age 4*“But mom why can’t I marry Krissy?” Siana asked with a pout on her face as she tugged on the corner of her mother’s dress. Siana wore a pink dress which looked good with her light brown hair and the tiny pink shoes she was wearing. “Cause she’s a girl Siana, you’re supposed to marry a guy.” Her mother patted her head lightly. Siana looked up at her and there she was. That pretty woman she admired the most as a child. Her birth mother; The Queen. The brown hair was fixed so perfectly into a bun, complementing her light complexion. She had a lavender dress on which went down her knees and it announced that she was royalty. Her hand that was placed on her head seemed so light and fragile as if she needed to be protected. If any hurt got to her she’d break. But her eyes were so determined and strong that Siana knew no matter what, her mother won’t give up without a fight. However, she was proved wrong later on in her life once she was sent away and her identity was hidden from
*age 11*Siana stood frozen in a corner as her body refused to move. The huge building in front of her overwhelmed her. A lot had changed within a year. She was taught the manners of the modern world and living an urban life. Since her birth, she had been brought up according to the royal traditions and she did know a lot of things that other people did; her life was a little too fancy to live a normal life but now things were about to change. So now, here she was in a new city with her foster family away from her home and her mother, the only family she had. She was enrolled in a new school and she was excited to meet new people but the thought terrified her at the same time as she had not known many people except for her family and Karissa. She stood at the start of the road which ended at her school’s entrance. That building looked so much bigger than her tiny body and all the kids entering it seemed from a different world. All her excitement died down in no time and she started
*age 13*It had been a little over 2 years since Verona and Siana had been friends and their friendship had evolved a lot as now Verona mostly just hung out with Saina and had left her gang. The four of them were very jealous of Siana for taking their friend away and even threatened her to go away a few times but it never worked. Siana had opened up to Verona a lot but never told her about the past cause she never fully trusted her. The queen had taught her never to trust anyone to the point of showing them everything. She did end up becoming good friends with her but hid a lot of things. And at the age of 13 Siana finally realized that she only felt attracted to girls. Slowly her feelings did change for Verona, who was always really sweet to her and was there when she needed her, and she realized that she might like her. But chose to never confess. But what about Verona? She had been infatuated with Siana since the beginning and no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t stop think
“I hope this day goes well…” Siana said as she looked in the mirror. She saw a thin figure wearing a black pair of jeans with a white shirt tucked in it. A puffy denim jacket was placed over it and it had her brown hair resting lightly over it. She sighed deeply as she placed her bag on her shoulder. “Wish me good luck, Kai.” She whispered before she closed the door and locked the apartment. Kai meowed once and turned into a human as soon as the door closed. “I wish you good luck Siana.” He whispered back as he waved his hand at the closed door. “Let’s see if they make a move today.” Siana turned towards the other end of the hallway and there was a sly smile on her face. Siana had not seen Verona for a few days and things had been pretty calm in the college. However, that day she had a strong feeling that something was about to go down and that was making her nervous for no reason. The day was going okay for starters but the whole day she kept having this feeling that somebody wa
“Cause I hate you to death!” Verona screamed as she gripped Siana’s neck tightly. “Your family had ruined everything for me and for my ancestors. And you being the current royalty, deserve a torturous death.” Her voice got scarier with each second. “S…stop…” Siana whispered in a weak voice as she held onto Verona’s arms, trying her best to pull onto them but all her efforts were in vain. “No, bitch!” The force of her hands increased and Siana’s hand banged against the wall. Siana gasped for air as she started to suffocate and gripped Verona’s arms tighter. While doing so, her hands pierced into Verona’s paper-white skin, and dark maroon blood flowed out of them in no time falling onto Siana’s fingertips.Verona had no time to notice that in her fit of anger but this was exactly what Siana wanted. She needed her blood to get what she wanted. “V, I think you’re going a bit too far…she needs to be alive till we get what we need…” Chloe whispered from a distance as she herself was sca
The wind caused rustlings in the forest and the darkness made it very hard to see anything that lay in front of Verona. Suddenly thunder sounds were heard and before she could look up at the dark clouds, her head was hit with raindrops, falling swiftly one after another, making her drenched within seconds. She sighed as she showed disappointment in her luck. However, the darkness and rain didn’t seem to scare her. What scared her was what was inside that forest. She was there to meet someone and to meet them she had to go deep into the forest. The trees were too dense for her car to drive any further. So, in pitch-black darkness, she set out to reach the center on foot. She had no source of light with her so once again she forced her injured body to use up the rest of her vampire powers to see in darkness and protect herself from any possible prey. Her body had weakened a lot due to the attacks and she had noticed that both her arms had nail marks on them and were bleeding a little
Siana smiled slyly as she warned Verona about what was about to come and how she was going to ruin her life. Verona just laid there trying to get up but was hit too hard and couldn’t get up anymore. The anger in her eyes was still very strong and annoyed her that she couldn’t do anything. But no matter how hard she tried, she wasn’t able to get up as the werewolf was stepping on her back. Its weight stopped her from moving at all and she could just watch as Siana laughed at her condition. She didn’t seem to be affected at all by being choked for so long. Her voice and her body seemed perfectly fine. Chloe, on the other hand, had turned into a mess. She was sobbing loudly as she called for help. Verona found it pathetic and was embarrassed to have partnered up with someone so weak. Siana found it amusing; she liked her cries for help as they made her feel superior and strong. “Well, goodbye for now. I shall see if you can still reach your goal after this.” Siana said as she waved h
