Night had fallen fast upon the land. No more than an hour ago the sky was painted with hues of red, orange and pink, but all colour had faded leaving only a matt black canvas with no stars to be looked upon. The darkness was thick and even a torch won't lit your path, you could hardly see your arm length with the help of a torch. By this time of the night, the world had already fallen asleep. Only the chilly wind and she seems to be awake. She runs through the thick lairs of trees and bushes of the forest. The night was so quiet that you could hear the soft breeze blow but you won't hear her footsteps. She runs towards her destination in rhythm with the wind, as fast as the wind. Her pace is graceful, her pace is as soft as the wind, her presence is as true as the shadow, her existence is like that of a prey hiding in the forest away from the predator's eyes. No one can identify her even if she is there, even if she runs past you, you won't find her.
Gradually the number of trees began to decrease, and in a few moments, she reached an open place. Standing behind the bushes, she saw that the lights in front of the house were still on. She decided to wait there, hiding behind the bushes. She looked at her watch, again at the house, the lights are still on. She let out a deep breath, she sat leaning against the tree next to her. The forest was clear here, she could see the sky. The stars in the sky were nonexistent, as between us arose puffs of grey. Those balls of cotton seen during the day shifted into streams of grey the colour of ash and soot. They blanketed the sky, hiding the full moon in its full glory behind them. But the moon fought, oh how it fought to shine its light on the earth. But the clouds stretched over the sky, giving it a hazy ominous feel. It is going to rain soon. She looks down on the surface beneath her and looks back at the house. She can't afford to get drenched in the rain now. It will leave traces or her trail.
She looks back at the house and the lights are finally off indicating that everyone is finally asleep. She sits straight and pulls her black neck sleeve up covering her face sitting across the bridge of her nose, under her eyes.
She adjusts her gloves and her weapon around her waist belt and scans the area for any guards. She quickly comes out of the bush and runs toward the back of the house. She quickly jumps up grabbing the window seal on the first floor. She crawls up to the 3rd floor with elegance. She reached the window and found it was unlocked, she smirked to herself and entered the house silently. She swiftly lands on her legs in the lightly lit hallway and makes her way through there. There is a right turn at the end of the hallway. She was about to take the turn but she heard footsteps approaching her. She swiftly switches across the hallway so that her back is against the opposite wall. She keeps pressed against the wall till the footsteps come near her. She brings out the blade hidden under her wrist. As soon as the man turns into the hallway she strikes her blade through the man's neck without hesitation. And his body falls limp and was about to hit the floor, she immediately catches the body and leaves it on the floor without making any sound. She takes the right turn and finds a brown double door at the end of the hallway.
In no time she reaches the door, the door was locked from the inside as she expected. She moved her finger gently in front of the lock and it made a click sound indicating that it was unlocked. She smirks under her mask and turns the nob opening the doors. She moves into the shadow side of the room blending in with the shadows removing her existence and looks at her preys sleeping soundly in the comfortable king-size bed in the middle of the room.
"How oblivious are they to the fact that they are to die tonight," she thought to herself.
She sighs and moves towards the king-size bed, finding two equally beautiful man and woman sleeping soundly. She takes out her silver blade and swiftly slides it through the woman's neck, not giving her a chance to gasp for air. She passes away peacefully in her sleep.
She moves towards the man and she was about to slide her blade through his neck but he opens his eyes, his eyes held pain, anger and vengeance. He grasps her hand trying to twist it but her arm doesn't budge. He threw punches on her face but it didn't have any effect on her. He felt like he was punching a brick wall. She saw fear in his eyes and sensed fear radiating from him. She smirks under her mask and feeds on his fear like a hungry animal.
She turns and twists his hand that was holding hers, she hears a crack and the man cries out in pain. With a swift movement of her hands, the door behind shuts closed before the scream of agony can escape the room.
She lands a punch on his face and she hears the satisfying crack as his nose breaks and blood starts running out of his nose. When the smell of blood reaches her nose her eyes lit's up a bright yellow. She removes her mask showing her beautiful yet horrifying face to the man she is about to kill.
"Well, you're dying soon anyway. It would be a great loss if your blood gets wasted." As soon as she ends the sentence she bites down on his neck and he screams in agony, 'Ah music to my ears.' She thought.
She starts sucking out his blood, drinking every drop of it. Soon the man falls limp on his bed as all the blood from his body was sucked out and she licks her lips clean. She looks at the almost lifeless body of the man and puts her silver blade on his chest right over his heart,
"So long Alpha!"
And she stabs her blade on his heart spilling out the last few drops of blood his body was left with. She wipes to clean her silver blade on his tee-shirt and tucks it back in its case on her waist.
She pulls up her black neck sleeve and her black hood. She opens the balconies door and jumps out of the house landing smoothly and quietly on her legs. As her feet touch the earth, her toes are bathed in the newly bequeathed rain. It gurgles, bubbling as she takes off in an inhuman speed flowing with the rain, soothing in its coolness.
In the rain, there is a serenity, a sense of peace that offers to resonate with the peaceful elements of the soul. Running among those drops, she feels present in the moment, she feels free! She ran and ran, running was living for her, it was feeling the power to leave anytime she needed to, to escape the confines of walls and feel the open road. In time she hoped to run not away yet toward, not from a murder she did but for her home, for then she will have found sanctuary in her self and this world she thought. She wanted to run to feel, to feel the air and the earth, to feel the rain and absorb the hues of the daylight and the silent cool breeze of night. But she had to run to escape, to not get caught, to run for her life. In no time she was out of the pack land of the Alpha and Luna she just murdered. She stopped in front of a huge tree outside the pack land. She climbed up the tree swiftly and soon reached the top branch. She sat down there on the wet, cold tree branch. The rain had already stopped a while ago and the sky was clear. The sky was free from the blanket of dark cloud. The moon graced the sky as if she'd had some bright idea, something brilliant needed to shine upon the Earth.
She leaned against the tree one leg up on the branch and the other was swinging in the air. She took down her black neck sleeve and her hood. Her hazel brown eyes were shining in the moonlight. She leaned her head backwards and felt the cool breeze touching her face. She closed her eyes and felt the breeze. The breeze came with that sense of balance, the wisdom to move yet at a steady calm pace.
She was tired and exhausted, she was running, killing, assassinating people straight for the past 4 days. She didn't get an ounce of sleep. With the cool breeze and the beautiful moon shining above her, she dozed off. She soon was awake by the sound of howling of the wolfs, it held a lot of pain and anger.
"It took them long enough." She thought. She could sense the wolfs running towards where she was. She was sure they couldn't trace her but it was her cue to leave.

"Is he dead?" Said a cold stern voice that held authority and...darkness. He was like an evil shadow always lingering over her, never letting her leave out of his sight. He sat on his throne-like chair in dark. The huge room was dark, it's the only source of light was the moonlight perching through the tightly shut curtains that were covering the huge windows. It has been a few hours since she killed the Alpha and his Luna now it was time to report back.
"Yes, master!" She said in a low voice. She was sitting on the cold stone floor with her hands on her knees and held her head low in submission.
"Did he suffer?" He said with a sinister small smile on his lips. She didn't look at his face but she knew that tone. She could feel the sinister evil smile painted on his face.
"No master," she said in a low voice without any emotion blended in them. His eyes lit up red instantly. She knew what was to come. Even before she could blink a very painful blow from a silver whip hit her on the back and then another one. One after another blow kept hitting her. She sat there taking in every painful strike trying not to budge. But the strikes kept coming she tried holding in but soon she gave in fell on the floor and winced in pain. A small cry of agony left her mouth and his eyes lit up in satisfaction. He loved this game, she would try her hard not to give in and he would keep hitting her harder each time. This is the most satisfying game he has been playing for the past 400 years.
"Did I or did I not make it clear that I want him to suffer? Beg for death?" He lifted her chin and forced her to look into his eyes. He saw no emotion in her eyes, they were blankly looking at him. He let go of her chin and went back to his throne-like huge chair and sat down. She sat up in her previous position and held her head low in submission.
"When I say you make them suffer you do! Make them beg for death, you make them beg! Is that clear my little dog?!" He said in a cold, angry and stern voice.
"Yes, master." She said in a low voice.
"Now get out of my house you bitch."
She stood up holding her head down in submission bowed in front of him and left through the huge dark double doors.
The dark man sitting in the shadows was the example of the devil's right hand in the face of the earth. He was not the devil himself but she felt, knew and believed wholeheartedly that he was the devil himself. He was the devil lingering over her shoulders making her do everything he wanted and she hated. He was the devil accomplishing everything he wants through her. She doesn't get rewarded nor she gets praised by him if she does something right, he always finds out some flaws and punishes her brutally. She doesn't expect any reward nor any praise. She believes she does not deserve any of it, she does not even deserve to be alive. She has brutally killed, tortured over thousands of men and women in her 421 years of life time. After a decade of torture and training from the devil, she was let loose enough to do her deed for the devil. And now after 400 years of torture and killings, she doesn't feel anything anymore, except for the pain the devil bestows upon her. It is that pain that reminds her that she feels something, she is alive, she has an existence that is not entirely stone. It would not be entirely true if it is said that she doesn't feel anything except the pain the devil puts her through though, she feels ashamed of herself, she hates her existence, she hates the monster she is and she hates killing people she doesn't even know what their mistakes were. She tried hundreds of time to destroy the monster in herself, a huge deal of the time she spent trying to kill the devil himself but always seemed to fail. Nonetheless, she accepted her fate serving the devil. She accepted the name the world call's her. She is The Reaper! The assassin who they think of as the example of darkness. Who lives in the shadows, feeds from fear and kills whoever crosses her path, except they don't know she is a mere woman who is the definition of beauty and pain. Who works for the Devil!

The blackness engulfed her thoughts. Stretching out in front of her like a map, the unknown studied her fears, her courage and knowledge. Taking tentative steps the infinite exposure of the human flesh dawned. There was no life here. That was simple, no thriving population, no signs of past living. The darkness had overcome any sense of purity, consumed all hopes of cleanliness and had wiped out. She was getting tensed more like nervous and scared a feeling that never dared to touch her. She ran around looking for any sign of life, nothing! She was scared a feeling she never knew she had. She cried out loud, screaming on top of her lungs. Darkness has swallowed everything. Darkness destroyed everything she knew. Everything is gone, everyone is gone. Except her! Why is she still there! "Because you are the darkness." A faint low
On this cloudy morning, there are growing patches of blue, the sort of hue that is soft and bright at the same time. Though beneath the sheet of the cloud is a grey that deepens to steel, the leading edge is a brilliant white, as if it is the pages of a new book ready for any curious eye. So, on this day that could bring rain or sunshine. Though the sky seems sad today, it seems to grieve the pain and agony with the whole crowd gathered here grieving the loss of a great Alpha and Luna of the Blood Moon pack. The sky got cleared last time after the assassination of the Alpha and his Luna but when his pack started howling expressing the pain and agony of losing their Alpha and Luna the sky decided to grieve with them. Since then, the sky is wearing a dark gloomy blanket of clouds. The whole pack, neighboring packs, and the Royal Pack have gathered in the Blood Moon Pack for the funeral of the late Alpha and Luna. All the werewolves that were gathered in the Blood Moon Pack held their
The Beta of the Royal Pack Nicholas was patrolling and inspecting the forest with a party of three warriors when he smelled something odd. He sniffs the air, identifying the source of the odour, and then sprints in that direction. He quickly arrives at a small riverbank in Royal Pack territory, only to be greeted by a red-haired girl. For her, the term "beautiful" is an understatement. She was simply breathtaking. He and the other three warriors were in awe of her. 'Why did she, who seems to be a human girl, come straight into our Royal territory!' he wondered. He took his attention away from the lovely unconscious girl lying on the riverbank and began checking the area for something suspicious. He approached her and knelt down and saw bruises on her flat stomach, which were apparently due to her slightly elevated tee. In addition, he noticed a deep cut on her forehead. He immediately made contact with his Alpha via mind link,"What Nick?""Alpha yo
She has seen darkness before, the kind that makes our street like an old fashioned photograph, everything a shade of grey. This isn't like that. This is the darkness that robs you of your best sense and replaces it with a paralyzing fear. In this darkness, she sits, muscles cramped and unable to move. She only knows her eyes are still there because she can feel herself blink, still instinctively moisturizing the organs she has no current use for. She can't hear anything either. She guessed that should bring her heart rate down below the level of "rabbit in a snare" but it doesn't. By her genes she is a predator, she has the front-facing eyes and brain enough to hunt, but she feels like prey in this utter black. The dawn is many hours away and until that precious time, she can only wait. She doesn't know how long she's be
"Your Highness," came a deep shaky, male voice from behind. "Let me guess, you haven't found her." He said it without glancing back. "N-no Your Highness." Before the man could blink, he was pinned to the wall by his neck. Prince Aiden squeezing his neck like it was a stress ball, "How did a girl despair under your nose? huh?" He asked, in an incredibly calm voice, that sent cold shivers down the man's spine. His eyes were blood-red mixed with gold yellow, indicating his beast was at bay. "I-uh" His voice came out to be scrambled "Who made you the head warrior again? And what's your job when you're at the border? Do remind me again, will you." Aiden said clenching his jaw. The head warrior tried to wiggle out of his strong grip, but it was in vain. He could not answer as his throat was being crushed. "Did she just vanish in thin air?" He asked him again. The head warrior was now gasping for air as his lungs were g
(The conversation between the beast and their human form is talking with one's subconscious. Beast can not talk in human form when they take over the body) "Why does this have to happen to me?" She said loudly as she began to run into the forest. She took off and threw away her heels as she cursed her mate, "I'm going to make sure you fucking pay well if I Lose these pair of Louis Vuitton, you fucking Prince!" She took the medium train of her dress and started running as fast as she could, as she heard thuds of paws hitting the ground. It did not take her long to understand that they were after her. She tried to run faster, but she found herself slowing down, pushing herself to use her Vampire speed, but she couldn't reach her Vampire side as her beast kept blocking her. Her beast was forcing her to shift. She kept
"What have they done to you! I'm so sorry love!" Looking at his mate's condition, Prince Aiden said in a sorrowful tone. He removed his jacket and wrapped it around his injured comrade, who was staring at him with wide eyes. He pulled her closer to him, protectively wrapping his arm around her. The heat emitted by him was soothing to her. His voice sounded concerned, but wasn't he the one who instructed his warriors to capture her? She thought to herself. "Do you know what the sentencing is for assaulting your future Luna? or should I help you in recollecting?" His voice had a dangerously low and deep tone to it. Implying that his beast was ready to attack and rip off anyone who dared to lay their filthy hands on his mate. "But she is the one who killed five of ou
The light grew steadily outside until the curtains glowed just the same as stained glass. She stuck her head behind the fabric to survey what the day might bring. The grassy yard was slick with water, though the puddles remained quite still, no hint of rain still falling. Above the clouds were still grey but without the denseness of yesterday, allowing patches of blue to form. She walked back to her bed and sat down. The horizon was just beginning to take on gold hues, and the sun had not yet risen. She awoke an hour ago, having gotten the most sleep she had in years. There was still an hour until dawn. Throughout the hour, she tried to find her way out of this castle, or at least out of this room. She still can't believe The Prince put metal bars on the balcony, preventing her from jumping out. Did she mention the guards
"Will this be all, My Lady?" Dorothy inquired as she fastened the final brooch of the Silver Royal Mantle."Yes, thank you, Dorothy." Dorothy, the new head court lady, bowed and walked out, and Seraphina smiled. Seraphina later found out that Megan had been murdered after she had discovered Freya adulterating her drinks. And soon when everything slowly fell into place Dorothy succeeded Megan.Seraphina took a final glimpse of herself in the mirror as she exhaled a deep breath. She was dressed in an A-line gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline. Lace tails onto the shoulder and comes back up at the wrist. The back bodice is a lovely illusion made of lace that opens and closes with buttons and loops. The lace trails back onto the skirt. A dramatic lace border completes the hem. Her hair was styled in a simple sweet hive updo. Her look was completed with a simple necklace and diamond studs."You look stunning!" Hilda complemented as she walked in through t
"In the infirmary!" As soon as he said it, her legs carried her down the corridor, down the stairs, and into the pack infirmary on their own. She felt the dampness on her cheeks as her legs carried her towards the male her heart craved. She rushed through the grassy field, tears streaming down her cheeks, without even bothering to wipe them, and soon arrived at the infirmary. Hilda was standing on the first floor, her face glum. When she saw Seraphina, her eyes widened."Where is he?" Hilda only pointed to the door at the end of the hallway when she asked. She dashed towards the door, but a hand captured her forearm before she could break through."They're operating on him." He said this, and she turned around to face Emmerich."Tėtis!" She wrapped her arms around him and sobbed on his shoulder. He stroked her hair tenderly as he held her."It's okay, he'll be alright!" He tried to console her, but all she did was sob."Why does this always have to happen to
She was the only beating heart, the only being of warm blood and flesh in those cold, lonely halls of the castle. The walls around her were undoubtedly familiar to her in the recent past, these walls had started becoming her home, making her feel she belonged somewhere, but it was all now a strange maze. The light fell on the words that spoke to no one, unaware that their audience had vanished or that the stone floor lay silent beneath no feet except her. It was as if Goddess had stopped time, removed all the distractions so she could see it for real, see how it really was, what it really was. And all she wanted at the time was another beating heart in this deserted castle, another being of warm blood and flesh, another pair of feet to walk beside hers. Her shaky feet were giving up, unable to bear the weight of her being, of her heavy heart. Her hand clutched her chest tightly as she struggled into the first floor. His scent hit her full force
"I'm not a flower of darkness! I have seen the brighter world and I don't wish to go back to a world where light doesn't exist!" She raised her gaze and Mia shrieked. She looked down as a sharp pain sprouted on her abdomen. Seraphina's hands held a dagger as she pushed it deeper into Mia's stomach. She leaped back to Aiden, who gleefully drew her into his arms, his face solemn as he stared at Mia. Seraphina said as Mia fell to her knees."Don't think I didn't notice you were obstructing my path to Cora. You gave me no choice but to strike!""Your blade is your true nature! You will kill anyone who is an impediment! Be it the female who raised you!" Their gazes were drawn to the forest's shadows. As the man walked into the dim light, their eyes widened as if they'd seen a ghost."F-father!" Aiden stuttered.Bruce stared at Malcolm's beheaded corpse."What a pity!" He scoffed and took a step closer to Mia. He knelt and snatched her jaw."Are yo
Kendrick and the warriors rushed up the stairs to the fourth floor. He came to a standstill when he noticed the female facing him, standing there with a heart in her palm. He and the warriors raised their weapons, aiming at the female, and the rattle of their weapons drew Bruce's attention, causing him to turn around."Your Majesty!" Kendrick exclaimed in disbelief, and Bruce's face was hidden behind a menacing grimace. Bruce turned around with the female behind him, wagging his finger. When feral hisses surrounded Kendrick and his warriors, they shrieked. Bruce simply walked away as the creatures ripped the Lycans apart, their howls filling the entire hall."Liam! I need you to find and protect Seraphina. She's with Malcolm, and I suspect he'll try to use her demon. Keep an eye on her and keep her from shifting." Aiden ordered"Until my last breath!" said Liam curtly."Nicholas and I will be fighting on the front lines. No creature shall come near
An amicable, quiet evening was suddenly shattered by anguish and terror. The violent explosion rattled the entire packhouse, and the Lycan and Wolves who lived there fled in terror. The power had been cut off, and the impact had shattered the majority of the windows. The warriors had already gathered around the packhouse."Where is His Highness?" Kendrick, the head warrior, who had been moving around making sure everyone was headed to the safe house, asked another warrior."Last I heard, they're all in the conference hall!" He said this with a panicked tonality in his voice. Kendrick looked up at the building and dashed into the packhouse "The impact was on the fourth floor! Let's go!" Nearby warriors followed him into the basement, through the secured door they entered the armory."We don't know who attacked or how many there are, so bring as many weapons as you need and arm yourself! Notify the battle regiment and the border guards!" Kendrick ordered whi
"What are you so engrossed in?" Aiden inquired as he sat on the lounge chair next to Seraphina. She raised her head in surprise when she heard his voice."When did you return?" With a smile, she asked. He loosened his tie and sat down on the chair."Just a few moments ago. What are you reading?" He questioned, leaning in to read the title of the book she held in her hand."The history of Drinealia and Auhesraivia. You know, it was very harmonious back then." She sighed and closed the book."What do you mean?""What I mean is...come in!" When someone knocked on the door, she paused to let them in.Freya walked in with a cheerful smile and a tray in her hand. When she saw Aiden, her eyes widened in shock, and she instantaneously bowed her head. Seraphina had persuaded Freya not to curtsey to her, and Freya had agreed."Your Highnesses!" Seraphina gladly accepted the mug she offered."Thank you!" Seraphina thanked her, and Freya walked out,
"Training with him can't be that bad!" Aiden tried for the tenth time that morning to calm an anxious Seraphina. She'd been pacing back and forth in their chamber all morning."You've got no idea. Goddess knows how long he lived on this god-forsaken earth, and how many great warriors he trained. I had seen him train juveniles when I was a child. And it was heinous." She shuddered and hugged herself. He sighed and drew her closer, and she buried her face in his chest."You are incredible at combat, sword fighting, and many other things I am unaware of. So don't be concerned, and show him how incredible you are." He said this, and she lifted her head to look at him. She pecked his lips with a smile."You should now get going. He'll be upset if you're late." She nodded and hugged him before pulling away."I'll see you later." She said and he kissed her forehead. They said their goodbyes, and she walked away. "Tėtis?" As she stood on the open lawn surr
Every step was guarded by a Drinealia soldier. They saluted her with their heads bowed and their right fist pressed over their hearts as she passed by. She was reminded of her childhood when she used to run around the corridors of the Castle of Drinealia. The soldier came to a halt in front of a door at the far end of the corridor and knocked. With his head bowed, he stepped aside and pushed open the door for her. As attendants dressed him, the Demon King stood with his hands spread to his sides in front of a huge shining mirror, she walked in. He was dressed in black knee-length leather boots and black leather pants tucked into the boots. He was dressed in a black shirt, and two attendants carefully slipped him into a silver-gold armor vest. A brown animal skin was wrapped around his waist, and a long gold knotted belt endorsed the animal skin. The attendants delicately draped the black Royal Mantle of Drinealia over his shoulder, securing it with a silver brooch
