*Pryce Winsley's POV*

---

"Pryce, you're back. Hi!" She greeted me with her face in relief and joy mixed, and she attempted to go near the bed to touch me. And I went to look at her from head to toe, not that I am checking her out, but I kinda really am. Well, doesn't she realize that she is on fire? She could have, right?

"Oh, yeah, right. Fudge it! Oh, shit. Why is this not coming off?" She mumbled when she finally saw her situation; while she's been patting the parts of her clothes that have been on fire, yet her hands are also on fire. Nice one, my freak.

Then, I just stared in wonder at my mate, who has been panicking while busy trying to kill the flame that surrounds her body. I actually don't know what I should do to help her out. Cheer? Hmm.

When I looked around me, I just noticed that there were things attached to both of my arms. Oh, is it blood that has been flowing through these tubes? I think it is.

I tried to move my arms and legs, and thankfully, I can move them. It feels so good to be able to make any motion again. And, I am sure that I can breathe now, too!

As I noticed that there was no more red matter on the bags, I pulled out the needles from my arms, so I could finally sit up and help my girlfriend with her dilemma.

"You feel okay now, Pryce?" She asked me, smiling widely, and I nodded my head in response as I sat on the bed while looking at her in a bit of worry.

"Yeah, I feel good. But... You aren't. Need help?" I answered and asked her, to which she chuckled softly and nodded her head lightly while still trying to figure out how to get herself out of the fire.

And I stood up to find a way that I could do to kill the fire on her or else this whole house will get burned.

"Alright, I'll try to check if I could find some water in the bathro--- Woah!" I uttered but stopped in shock as I found myself inside the bathroom, and I don't have any idea how I arrived here.

"How in the world did... No way." I let out as I tried to look at myself in the mirror, yet I can't see anything. What the hell is happening? Am I dreaming? Well, I am very sure that I am not. I can touch my body and my clothes.

"Pryce?"

I heard Blair call me, and I tried to control my breathing. Damn, I better let this playful mind and eyes of mine stay still.

I need water, and water is what I am here for.

And I open the faucet to look for any running water, yet there is none. Then I tried opening and closing it again, but I was startled when it broke. Oh, no.

I looked at my hands and felt like I just used a reasonable amount of strength, but why did it break?

"Umm, Blair? There is no water!" I yelled back and headed to the door to go back to where she was. I turned the doorknob open, and guess what? It didn't break. The door just got detached from the frame. How nice? I have been destroying my girlfriend's house unintentionally with some forces that I don't have any idea where they are coming from. I guess it's from being a werewolf? Hmm. Maybe.

"Blair? Where are you?" I called her as I placed the door gently on the floor, and I looked around the room to find my mate.

"Where did that freak go?" I muttered when I found her nowhere around, and I heard a faint voice.

"Lawn."

Oh, it's her.

Then I hurried to the door but contemplated holding it open to head out. What if it will be broken again? Well, she could simply fix it. I will just help her.

So I opened the door as slowly as possible, and thankfully, it opened without being wrecked.

And I stepped out then wondered as to why I am now right outside the house, while the rain is pouring so hard. Mhmm.

"Oh, water. Thank goodness!" I let out in relief as I saw my mate under the rain, and the fire had finally been killed.

"Wanna join?" She asked me with her bright smile, and I giggled when she offered me a hand.

"Why not?" I answered without a second thought because... Mmm, no, there is no need for a damn reason.

I held her hand while I held myself from smiling like an idiot, and I suddenly felt something like a spark from her touch. Or is it just me being corny? Whatever. I just feel so happy right now that I am with her.

Then I was kind of surprised when she pulled me in her arms and hugged me tightly. Oh, I love this feeling so much. I don't know, but it feels like a very long time ago that we have been apart. I missed her. So greatly.

When we broke off from the hug, I looked her in the eyes and noticed that they were red, then I looked at her partially burned outfit.

"Dr. Thales?" I read the name on the robe, and she let out a laugh while trying to look at herself.

"This? I... I just stole some things from a hospital. No, I'll just... maybe pay later." She answered while giggling, and I just kept staring at her lovely face as I made it clear from the stray strands of her wet brown hair.

"Mhmm, and I believe that we have a lot to talk about, aren't we?" I uttered and traced my left fingers from her neck to her cheek and now to her soft pink lips.

"Yeah, yeah, of course. There are... Or... Or maybe we should just... Kiss? What do you say?" She replied with her smirking face, and I chuckled at her words. She knows me so well.

"Well, that sounds like a great plan to me. But it's better if you just did it right away." I answered, which made her a bit of a surprise.

And I held both her hands to lead her back inside her home to shelter us from the rain or just be in a place where we could change into some dry clothes. But not without taking off these wet ones. Showering first seems like a good idea, too, but we have no water. We should just settle with what we have right now. And what we have right now is more than enough. She is more than enough for me.

When we arrived at her room, I tried switching the light on, but there was nothing. Anyway, I could see clearly even if it's dark. Perks of being something else other than being a human, I guess.

"The power system is dead. Killed, I mean." Blair uttered while she did something with her hands that made the things from the hospital near her bed, went floating to the corner of the room. Then I saw some things that flew out from the drawer at the nightstand, and she lit them up. Candles. Scented candles. Hmm. Whatta witch.

"And now... where are we, Babe?" She asked with a pet name that made my ears perk up, and I snapped my head to look at her with my sharp stare.

"What? Don't you like it? What do you like? Do you prefer... Sweetheart? Honey-bee? Cupcake? Pumpkin? Or what?" She asked me with a hint of nervousness and a drizzle of cockiness, and I just let out a laugh in response.

"You can call me anything you want, Blair," I answered as I walked near to her, and a broad smile slowly crept on her face.

"Anything?" She asked to confirm and moistened her lips with her tongue, and I kinda sensed something different towards her as her eyes changed into green. Her human eyes. I feel weird. But a good kind of weird.

"Yeah, anything," I answered and stood in front of her to finally start what we should have. The kiss. Yeah, just a kiss.

"Alright, Anything. Come here closer, and let me show you what I feel for you, Anything. What do you think, Anything? Should we start now?" She told me while holding my hands, and I took a very deep breath to keep my cool and not say anything. Why? Why is my mate like this?

To just ignore this creature's silliness, I wrapped my arms around her neck, so we could not make it deeper to the point where I could tickle her sides till she couldn't breathe. Oh, I really missed this person: her and her crazy side.

"How does it feel like being a vampire, Anything? Is it bad? Good? Meh?" She asked me, and I went to look at her grinning face with my blinking eyes in wonder. What did she just say?

"Who-what vampire? Vampire? Me?" I asked her in confusion, and she just nodded her head in response.

Seriously?

I mean, I know being a half-werewolf is quite shocking already, now what more is an additional one? The more, the merrier? Maybe. And the response of my great mate is just pointing at her mouth. What does she mean by that? Kiss? Make out? Hmm? Then she pointed to her eyes, next. What now? She what? Stare at me? Oh, stalks on me! I know, she always does before. She is just a freak being one, you know. Finally, she pointed to her left forearm with her right middle and index fingers. What is it this time? Her fingers? Oh, yeah, they are nice as heck. I just want to know because I remembered that my mother has mentioned that we are cursed. One of us should be dead for the other to be alive. And now, we both are living. "Death. I guess that's what broke it, Claude. I died, you died. I think that is it. That was great lighting that woke you up, was it?" He answered, and he seemed to have a point. I held my mate's left hand in mine and led her to the bed to sit down as this conversation with the King of the Vampires is not gonna be a quick one. "Yeah, it was. I really don't know why I came to life because of it. Ch

"I don't know if I'm nervous or excited, Blair," I uttered and turned my head to look at her pretty face, and the girl chuckled. "Well, I guess you are nercited then." She replied that it made me let out a soft laugh. Yeah, indeed. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I found myself standing outside a huge wooden double door. It's Cassie's porch. Damn, I can't imagine what she looks like now, or if she has a family of her own, what her job is, and everything else that I have missed for the last thirty years. That was surely longer than the years that I hav

Her hair was in a ponytail, and now, it's down. Different, right? "Tell me I'm not dreaming." She began while slowly walking where Pryce and I are, and I cleared my throat as l will be the one to tell her since my mate here is also bawling her eyes out but smiling. "Sander, you are not dreaming," I told her as she said, and I went to sit on the headrest of the couch to get a better view of them. It's just a magnificent sight to see two very close friends reunited again. For Pryce, it was just yesterday, but for my cousin, it was an eternity.

"That one makes you human if you wish to be because of the spell in it. It hides your supernatural auras and form. And it works for witches only, whether Northern or Southern. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand after cleaning herself using the water on the fountain fronting the palace. *Pryce Winsley's POV* --- I looked around while wearing a puzzled face, the same as Blair when we arrived in a place that was so familiar to me. My room. Yet, it looks like someone else's now. "Who the fudge would be settling in here without your permission, babe? And where the heck on earth are your things?" My bewildered mate cursed as she noticed the things that I had. None of these are mine. What happened here? "I don't know, Blair. I don't know. But that was a long time since we were gone." I replied as I traced my fingers on the study table where there was something that seemed to be a flat-screen, and it's attached to a keyboard. Is this what a computer looks like now? It's light, thin, and fancy.

I missed staring at her electric blue eyes. "What do you mean blue, Blair?" She asked, wearing a puzzled face, and I smiled as I silently wished to be in my vampire form. I just need to confirm something since I broke off from our passionate kiss when I felt her body temperature suddenly change. She's warm. And hot. Super. Especially that she is just in her two-piece now. Yeah, I got rid of her white dress without breaking our kiss. My hands are just doing their jobs flawlessly. "Human," I uttered after I felt her aura. It's purely human now.

I was fine doing things I used to do, co-manage the academy I inherited from my mother, calling and chatting with my best friend who's a few thousand miles away from me, and meeting with my dad regularly for dinner. And my life unexpectedly turned upside down when I met a lovely but rude girl at my bookstore who had spilled my iced coffee on my chest. She is so damn mean on so many levels. Honestly, she is beautiful, but she's an insolent human being. It's a great turn-off, indeed. Well, that was my first impression of meeting Blair. I did wonder why on that very day I met her, I never thought of anything normal. She has always stayed in my mind, and I dreamed of her every dam

The cat? In the oven? That's crazy! I pulled the fishing line and the bait out of the water and kept the line to the reel of my fishing rod. I looked at the bucket beside me with only one fish swimming in it, which Pryce had fished here in our lake after almost half an hour of us doing this tedious stuff out here. She went to check on the kids, and I suppose there is some fuss going on that needs our special attention… as parents. “Bradley? Preston? Get in her
