Chapter 28 : Don't Make Waves

Mia's POV

We landed in New York around two in the afternoon and went straight to a car parked on the street. Ryan rode in the front seat while Ethan and I sat in the back. The drive to the hospital was interesting. I looked out the window at all the moving cars and was surprised at how accurate the movies were.

There were people hustling on the sidewalks, all determined to get to their destinations. Taxis flooded the streets, and we were practically bumper to bumper once we reached the heart of the city.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Ethan anxiously tapped his foot.
