Jessamine glanced at the calendar on the desk.

"Do your best to hold out longer. During the interview, I will clarify that I have no intention of joining any other company. We can use this opportunity to promote the Kama brand and make it clear that we are all competitors. Once they understand our position, they will probably stop calling us."

Judith furrowed her brows. "Jacinda, if I'd known earlier, I would have scheduled the interview for today and had them come this afternoon!"

Jessamine looked at her dirtily before saying, "It's almost noon, so let's go eat first. If you really don't want to answer those calls, you can ignore them for now."

Judith's expression lit up with excitement. "Really? Then I'll disconnect the landline."

A few seconds later, her expression changed and she looked defeated. "That won't do, Jacinda. If another call comes in, it could cause problems if we don't pick up."

Jessamine shrugged. "If it's really important, they will call another number."
